"Personaly i didn't like,I felt it as bare.. I was told that they make them a lot of live music, when I was there there was no group maybe this is where my heartfelt described above comes from.."
"Good atmosphere, plenty of separate area to choose from, nice little smoking area out back"
"New management since April.2019. Now a great pub with genuine people and friendly staff. LIVE MUSIC (BANDS) most SATURDAYS from about 9PM .. usually good stuff. Sometimes free pool/billiard on Sunday afternoons."
"This is the worst pub in Whaley bridge, I've now been in a couple of times and left shortly after. Prices are extortionate and the bar staff are not very welcoming. The first time I was told I was paying £4.20 for award winning Guinness.... I assume the award was for worst pint of Guinness ever. I have heard stories of the owner being drunk on shift and short changing other locals. And getting argumentative over the situation. My latest trip to this pub I was driving so I was drinking soft drinks, after asking for a coke they got a warm bottle out and when I said I didn't want a warm coke I got scowled at by the young girl behind the bar. And for the adding insult to injury on a Saturday night 90% of the taps were out of booze leaving only Peroni at £5.00 a pint. Can not wait for this pub to change hands again and someone who can actually run a pub takes over."
"Went in for 2 hours and came out with a double break in my leg."
