"Went in on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed! A big game was on and the place was rocking! Great atmosphere, with friendly locals and staff. Didn't have any food, but the beer was good, and the room on the right with all the tvs is dog friendly. More seating was available in other rooms if sport is not your bag. . A big car park, and pleasant walks nearby."

"Great find! Wanted a Sunday lunch, and this most definitely hit the spot. I had roast chicken and lamb. It was very tasty, and no fat on the lamb (hate fat). The rest of the plate was hot and plenty of it. Rounded off with a lovely pudding and custard. Will be going back."
