● Closed“The savoury food here is incredible, the pizza, cheesey garlic bread and tatertots were all perfectly delicious! (Definitely get the cheesey garlic bread!) The cocktails were delicious too and they have a good selection of beers. Let them know if you’re celebrating as you might get a free shot! The servers are very friendly, attentive and genuine. The only slight disappointment for us was the dessert, it looked good but it tasted very claggy and it wasn’t the same quality and taste as the savoury options. Their is only one dessert option, so it really should be a good one. Will absolutely go back here, especially for more cheesey garlic bread and cocktails!”

Jasmine Restaurant
● Closed569 Barlow Moor Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 8AE, United Kingdom“A lovely dining in experience. We had a large table with beautiful ceramic plates and glasses serves with ice water. We opted for the mixed grill, kofta, lamb and chicken grilled. It was fantastic and tender, Served on a bed of onions and peppers. They bought in aubergine, chilli and yoghurt sauces as dips and delicious warm bread. We also opted for sujuk which was also really tasty. The food is halal and the staff were really kind and helpful. Highchairs are provided and is a kid friendly restaurant. Highly recommend. A lovely place in Chorlton.”

Chorlton Tap
● Closed533 Wilbraham Road, Chorlton-cum-Hardy, Manchester M21 0UE, United Kingdom“Really nice to see that some small brewers are happy to fly the sour flag in a market overwhelmed by IPAs. The only thing I would say is that there were lots of 'imperial' drinks - maybe these are good for winter, but I tend to steer clear of such strong beers.”

The Gas Works Brewbar
● Open“Visited this bar today as was meeting up with a friend staying in the Innside Hotel. Nice bar. Well spaced out and comfortable seating. Good selection of beers and I would recommend the Spruce Black IPA. Music was a little loud but it was a Saturday night so to be expected. Good sized disabled toilet which was easy to get too. Would like to revisit in the summer to sit outside.”

Navigation Inn
● Open“Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Navigation Inn. Great food and choice of cask ales. Located a short walk along canal path to Whaley Bridge, and 3 miles along canal path to New Mills. Recommend lamb shank and beef hot pot with extra chunky fries which we had (see photos) ..No need for chips on the way home after that. Very warm and cosy traditional friendly atmosphere with low ceilings. Choice of 4 cask ales, including Timothy Taylor..See photos. B&B :- Four poster room very nice with new spacious ensuit shower. Stairs and landing work in progress re decorating but this didn't change our enjoyment in the slightest :) Breakfast amazing with all the usual choices cooked really well and any variation in menu not to much trouble. Will definitely return.”

Pint of MPA on cask was in perfect condition!”

The bar area is lovely set up by a huge window looking out at Didsbury. The variety of screens here is impressive with Superscreens, 3D IMAX and 4DX. The Victoria Walshaw
● Open12-14 Hall Street, Walshaw, Tottington, Bury BL8 3BD, United Kingdom“Stopped off here for a quick drink and to watch the cyclist for IronMan going past with a group of friends. As we were waiting at the bar to be served the food coming out of the kitchen smelt great so we asked the girls on the bar for a quick look at the menu. The staff were brilliant, we asked them if they could stick the F1 on for us and they did straight away. We were indecisive as to whether to order food or not but one of the girls talked us round, we had a laugh and a bit of banter with her. The food arrived promptly & was homely, freshly cooked & tasty pub grub, all for a reasonable price. Highly recommend the Sunday Lunch & the Cheese & Onion Pie. Looking forward to our next visit already.”

The Grill
● Open“I was in oldham to see some family early in the morning so felt like a desi breakfast. Googled up and found this place called The Grill, first thought is its a beautiful place very spacious and friendly staff, also the place is very clean. I got the desi breakfast which as in the picture is daal, spicy omelette and a homemade paratha and a potato dish too. I didnt get the chaii as already had one before i came so i went for the fresh orange juice. The food was lovely and I have never been a fan of when they give a shana paratha so having the homemade one was a nice touch. I also got a grilled chicken burger to take away and again that was delicious. Price wise its very fair and affordable and would reccomend this place as it also does a halal english breakfast option too. If you in the area defo try it and im sure you wont b dissapointed.”
