"Herbie K's will always be my go to when I want a taste of south Louisiana food ; but this day was off. The gumbo was too salty and the breading on the Shrimp buster was bland. I did express my view to the lady in charge. They were accommodating and I will return just hate it wasn't on par this trip."

"Such a cool, little hole in the wall with a lot of soul, and the MOST AMAZING FOOD!!!! The gumbo is the best I've ever had. The Chesapeake Catfish is also phenomenal, and be sure to save room for the white chocolate bread pudding!"
"We found Herby -Ks checks all the boxes really great food, people and a cool place to enjoy. Mary loved the red beans and rice and I thought the shrimp buster with onion rings was fantastic. The draft beer was so cold ❄️good stuff. We both loved the people here so much, great place to visit. We will stop by every chance we get."
"Unique and fun atmosphere, staff was friendly and very helpful!! The off menus suggestions were amazing, wish I would have taken a picture of the plate when it first came out but it smelled sooo good! The catfish with soft shell crab, rice, and salad was the best catfish I have had in a long time! The pink flamingo was the perfect sweet drink and the Bloody Mary was good!! Shout out to the awesome staff that even helped us change a flat tire after we ate!! If you are in the Shreveport-Bossier City area you should give them a visit!"
