“Best Turkish in Essex! Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. The bread is the best I’ve ever had; so deliciously seasoned and their homemade chilli sauce is incredible! Highly recommend ordering the hummus kuvurma. Mains are very large, would recommend sharing 1 between 2 people, or if you order your own and can’t finish it, ask for a takeaway box. My go-to main is the sarma chicken beyti; absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat it, but I’ll be sure to get a picture next time I go and update this review.”

“Booked last minute after trying to find somewhere locally for a roast. Can only say wow, most definately the best roast we have had out in a long time! Delicious. Not cheap but where is nowadays. Highly recommend.”

“Went for our retail at Sunday lunch with my boyfriend and I have to say the Romford branch never fails to bring amazing hospitality! Stephanie the waitress was so kind, chatty and fast! The manager working on the day was also very engaging and had great communication. “Had a wonderful Christmas party with our football team here. It was amazing… they went all out in hosting us a party of 45. Decorated our room beautifully for the occasion and hosted so well. The food was amazing. We had a buffet of gorgeous Italian food and our own bar with out door area. It was a magical night for all parents and kids. “Amazing pizza and wonderful service. The moment you walk in you get the feeling its a family business and it feels cosy and welcoming. We ordered in person and took a takeaway home (lockdown means we cannot eat in at the moment!) But as soon as we are able to, we will go to eat in too. Service was quick, pleasant and attentive. “Lovely service, friendly staff and great food. Went for my boyfriend’s birthday( 6 people) and the total bill was around £300. We got so many rounds of drinks and food for each person, including one desert and coffees. A free drink at the end was also offered. My boyfriend comes here quite often and really enjoys the fish and chips.”

“A must go for meat lovers! Delicious food with all you can salad bar and meat which is freshly cooked and served to your table. You're given a yes/no coaster which indicates if you want more meat. Favourites were pork belly and rib of beef!! Didn't expect the dessert to be great but it was absolutely gorgeous!”

“Review during Lockdown, July 2020: Almost felt like normal to go back to a pub again. Lovely welcome at the door from member of staff who was the monitor. The young chap explained the way it works of how to order through app. Some issues of some of the tables not appearing in the app or tickets not being closed but as this a new process for everyone quite understandable and staff kept their cool so customer service was of high level. They have tables outside - front and back. Would recommend booking if there is more than 2 of you. If you are not appy savy or the app doesn't work they still allow you to order from the bar as the app is not perfect and receipts are slow to be processed. Otherwise its super clean at all times and social distancing is being adhered to if you are looking for safe pub visit for punters of all ages over 18. They have one way system and show which tables are clean for use, just make sure your table isn't blocked for pre-booking to avoid being moved as the seating is cleaned down again. Sanitising stations available and toilets were clean during our visit. 3rd August: Archers is taking part in the Eat out to help out so don't delay...book ahead or if your local then just stop by if the app isn't working. First night out and its sad to see not many people taking up this offer but hoping people will take the plunge and get back to "normal" as its not heaving like most people believe it will be. Archers even give you the VAT off your drinks! How much more of a bargain can you get! Tables are kept clean and toilets have a system if you are worried. Have a night out and support your local pubs :)”
