"Poor customer service and attitude. Customers don't get informed that they only take cash when ordering via phone, you will then get advised to go and buy something from Coop and get cash back as theres no local cashpoint. Explained that it would be helpful to give this info on the phone before people make their way there, but have been told that this isn't how they do it and customers are supposed to ask. In laws have been going there for years but won't anymore. Food isn't good enough to excuse such attitude and there's enough competition"

"Ordered cod and chips as we had guests see the flier claiming 40 years experience. Thought would give them a try rude person answered the phone had an attitude it’s customers who pay your wage so buck up and cheer up miserable git. Food took over 2 hours to arrive upon paying it was all old and soggy chips cold nasty fish. BEST COD AND CHIPS IN ESSEX SOMEONE SAID YOU MUST HAVE BEEN DRUNK OR IN CRACK. no way is it the best I’d say the worst. Called back to complain only to be told not my problem and phone out down on me. Stay away folks plenty of better chip shops around these guys are con artists and rude. 1 star is the least I can give this shop I’d give MINUS 5 stars. Let’s just say never again tried them wish I never and saved my money."

"First time having the fish and I'm well impressed I light batter and cooked to perfection, lovely chips too also tried the Doner kebab a mixture of beef and lamb gave it the German feel different in taste absolutely wonderfull, a first class takeaway, all served by a group of great guys, cheers fellas.
