“Fantastic place- comfortable to sit inside and with plenty of space to sit outside. Staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable and can advise when it comes to drinks, cocktails and food. All food was delicious, fresh and just what we needed.parking might be a bit challenging so give yourself extra 10 minutes to find the right spot.”

“I didn't eat at this restaurant however I broke down outside the restaurant and the lovely man working that night came out to check on me twice and asked if I wanted to sit inside while I waited for someone to tow my car. They let me use their facilities as well which I really appreciated. Seeing this kind of service really made my evening after my car breaking down and I would 100% eat here after seeing that service”

“Visited on Sunday with my boyfriend, have to say it was absolutely amazing, I had a flat white with oat milk, the vegan earth bowl with plant chicken added, and we shared the coconut and pumpkin cake. All the food and the coffee were perfect, couldn't fault it, the portion sizes were really good too. Lovely interior in the restaurant as well and nice music playing, if slightly loudly. The only minor issue was that the menu said adding the plant based chicken to the salad I had was £4 but the receipt said £5 (didn't notice until I'd already paid).”

“I really like this pub, nothing flashy but dogs and kids were welcome, and it felt like a good mix of locals and people in to watch the football. Plenty of space, lots of tables. Would visit again.”

“The pub is just in the high street. Staff was amazing, the place is cozy, a big TV streaming all the futball matches. The portions of the starters are very good!! Totally recommend this place.”

I got a little drunk with my friends and dropped a glass, which was embarrassing, but the guy was so tolerant of my drunkenness (thank you) I will say, although the pub is lovely, the toilets are stinky (pee), which is the only thing. “Booked online giving details of our visit and our celebrations and preferred seating! Brilliant seat looking out to river! Then Gemma our waitress introduced herself and she was amazing! Attentive but not overbearing or hovering over us! Food stunning! Then our desserts arrived with chocolate written Happy Birthday for my husband and I had the Happy Anniversary one! (Yes .....we did get married on his birthday!) Atmosphere and music great and sat outside by the river relaxing for a while after with drinks just relaxing! It was the day of the train strike and Uber and taxis letting us down but Siobhan stopped what she was doing to get us a cab firm and that was successful! I last came here many many years ago on the same date to celebrate and did not enjoy the experience at all.....sitting near to kitchen which had a swing door and heard shouting and offensive language every time that door opened which completely ruined our day so you can imagine it took a lot to come back....but took a chance again as heard through the grapevine how nice it is! So glad we did and look forward very much to further visits!! Thankyou again!”

“Came here for a party. Had a brilliant night. Pub seemed like the pubs I knew back in the early 80s, but in a really good way. Staff all very friendly and helpful, prices very fair. Food was supplied for the party, I’ll be honest I’m really not sure who did the catering, but it was all very good, a finger food buffet. There were two bars that I could see, not sure if there are other function rooms. Very near Berrylands station. Parking seemed easy.”

“We meet our friends here socially one morning a week for coffee which offers free refills. We then generally stay for lunch. I usually have curry but there are choices. It's such good value here and the best thing is it's lovely and warm too. We can stay as long as we like without feeling we ought to go. Its ideal for us.”

“My children has always loved pizza express. I have to admit it wasn't my favourite pizza restaurant but since I tried the new menu I am so much happier to take my children there. Only been once at Surbiton branch, normally we go to the Esher one. The service at Surbiton was fantastic and the very friendly waitress gave a little tip which made my pizza exquisite!”

“Had a great experience here. Dale's (the manager) service was excellent. He was highly accommodating with sorting out breakfast, the Wifi connection and finding a place for me to work after I checked out. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel based on its service and location.”
