Welcoming atmosphere in Guildford

“For over a year I have been searching for an Artist to take on a project of a cover up and to rework an old cover up which had scarring coming through and not well done, I approached over 20 different tattoo shops and Artists with no joy. then I was recommended Alexine at this shop, you can contact her by email, please read it fully and send as much info as you can inc measurements and idea's, She will respond with in her time scales (1 week) with details and ideas what can be done etc, She is 100% honest about what designs will work and won't, She will not waste your time or hers which I like. I went in for a consultation and heard what I like, paid deposit and sent her loads of idea's , Recieved the design 4 days before our first session just in case you want to change or tweek anything. Our first session was placement and out lining work, I had trouble imagine what it would all look like when it would be finished, Alexine was patient and explained it all very well and coached me through it. 6 sessions later it was done! All the sessions ran to time and to my expectations, She never failed to delivery. You really do get back what you put in with Alexine, she is direct, polite, professional and loves cover-ups, happy to tattoo for hours if you can take the pain ! The studio is very clean and relaxing, all the ladies there are very nice and make you feel welcome. Honestly I'm not one for reviews but If you need help in a cover up or reworking a piece, get in touch with her. I was doing 50 mile round trip to have this done, well worth it .”

“Everyone was super welcoming and so lovely to us, made us feel really special and offered us a glass of prosecco too. It really was a lovely experience and really made it that much more enjoyable and special, as we werent expecting the extras like that either. Fleur was brilliant - so enthusiastic and charming about our engagement, wedding and our rings. She was really helpful and listened to what we wanted while also offering alternatives to think about. We both bought our wedding bands that day and would highly recommend this store to others as we honestly couldn't fault it. It was perfect. The jewellery is great quality without the ridiculous price tags, you can still pay a fortune if you like or are very specific about what you want, but they have stunning options at really reasonable prices, which is exactly what we were looking for, and we both got platinum, and mine had diamonds and we only paid £2100 in total which I think is bloody brilliant! “One of the nicest meals out I've had in a long time. The staff are amazingly friendly from the moment you walk through the door as was the service throughout, very attentive and quick. The food was just incredible and at a reasonable price. I had the pork belly special of the day which was just fantastic. My daughter had the seafood linguine which she said was the nicest she'd ever had and as an Italian cuisine lover, that's saying something indeed! The portion size was great too. Left just enough room for tiramisu, which as it's my favourite dessert, I can honestly say it was one of the best I've tried! Thank you for an enjoyable evening. Will look forward to a return visit.”

I came in for a cut and colouring/highlights as I hadn't had anything properly done to my hair for years and the before and after results says it all. My hair looked so beautiful like never before when finished. It looked and felt so glamorous and exceeded my expectations. The girls at the salon are all so lovely and friendly so I'm already looking forward to my next visit.”

“Just went to get some acrylic nails removed and the staff were very welcoming and friendly as soon as I entered! Less crowded than the nail salons in town. Price was only £9 for removal and you even get offered a drink (I had a coffee which was very nice). I’ll definitely be coming here again for a new set of nails!”

The gardens are absolutely gorgeous, secluded and well kept, and we could go for peaceful walks whilst being undisturbed. We loved our stay here. “Fabulous diner last night. Beautifully decorated restaurant, very clean, nice atmosphere. Very friendly and attentive staff, perfect service. (From arrival to getting our starters served was only 15 min) Menue was varied, with meat and plant based options. Food was outstanding, very tasty and beautifully presented. The barber asked carefully what I wanted, and seemed to be very careful and focused the entire time he was at work. From experience, it's difficult to find a decent barber in this part of London so I was happy to have found this place.”

“- straciatella (one scoop) £2.50 authentic and delicious gelato!! i got straciatella which was not overly sweet and had a generous amount of chocolate shavings. i wish they had a wider range of flavours but i understand it is a small family business so this would be quite hard. a coffee one would be divine though!!!”

“The best music in Guildford for me. A small and quirky place that manages to get some incredible up and coming acts. I've never had a problem there as the people that go always seem to be there for the music and a good time.”
