"Lovely staff. Toasted sandwich ok. But toast with ingredients inside rather than a proper toastie. Pity about the all pervading smell of old cooking oil, I left with burning eyes and the need for a shower and hair wash."

"I walked into this wonderful gem of a place by pure chance but as soon as I stepped in I loved it. It’s like walking back in history, how old school “greasy spoon” type of cafes used to be. It’s so good to see some like Joe’s survive due to the popularity with the loyal locals. Upon entry you are greeted with warm welcome and can either have your cuppa and brekkie sit in or take away. I decided to have a small breakfast of egg, sausage, crispy bacon, sausage, grilled tomatoes and toasted, buttered bread with my coffee. It was simply delicious, filling and made me a very happy man on this very cold December morning. I will definitely be back at Joe’s."
