“I have been coming to this salon religiously for over 1 year, every 4 weeks. I cannot praise the team enough for their outstanding skill and customer service. Everyone is so lovely and able to answer any and all questions regarding their services and make honest recommendations. I first came in by chance to get acrylics removed, and was recommended to start using bio gel due to now damaged my nails were, and since then my natural nails are half an inch long and extremely healthy. I’ve also had my eyelashes done by Thalia and I must say they were the most beautiful lashes using the best products / material, by far the best lash extensions me or anyone else has had. I’ve just had my first facial to start my clear skin journey and the recommendations / information given to me is one of a kind. It’s rare to find people in the beauty industry who really care about how things look / feel for customers however the nail & beauty shop is a rare gem, who never recommend the most expensive service but instead recommend things that work for you. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait, however it is 100% worth it plus there’s always reggaeton or Latin music in the background to vibe to :)”

“Called in the week to ask advice on an office chair for home. After chatting it through it with them, they suggested I pop in to test them out. Visited the shop on Saturday and the man who served me was super helpful. Great recommendation, friendly and even helped me to the car with my new office chair. I've noticed the difference in my back just after one day. Much better than buying online as you get to try them and the chair comes fully assembled. Would highly recommend and lovely to be able to support somewhere local.”

“Wonderful brunch with friends here on Sunday. They have plenty of seating, some fantastic breakfast/brunch options and really speedy and friendly service. Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.”

“Our server was a nice gentleman, unfortunately did not get his name. Went with family, for a reunion of sorts. Visiting from Canada, so I've never been here. Ordered the set menu. Tomato soup (it was alright, a tomato basil or a tomato bisque would have been better), the imam's bayild (the topping was amazing, not the biggest egg plant fan), and the cheese for dessert (chutney on the sweet side). Would certainly come back and try something new. Coffee a little on the tart/sour side.”

“Beano's in the Guldhall institute in Guildford. Vegan Cafe with a delicious Menu choice, full of flavour and amazing price . Seriously worth a visit even if you are Just passing through. I'd recommend it to everyone even if you're not vegetarian.”

“Love the new cocktail menu! Really great food and service here in the centre of Guildford. We had the sharing platter starter, pork dumplings, King Prawn Pad Thai, Eton Mess, Duck Curry with Jasmine rice. I will most certainly be going back!”

“Absolutely great Saturday with our kids. It was awesome. We got offered a photo of our youngest. And it was really nice. We got professional photos taken 3 for 24£. That's seems very reasonable. My youngest loved the baby part and eldest loved the waves. Only let down it smells like chlorine, but expected. Eyes gets a bit sensitive.”

“Me and my partner stayed for 1 night. We had a free room upgrade on arrival and the restaurant food was tasty but it was a little bit expensive. Breakfast was self-serve and very good quality. Beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. Thank you for a pleasant stay.”

“You know what you're expecting when you visit toolstation. The staff are akin to argos staff. Mostly friendly but lack experience what they stock/sell. As such staff likely have a higher turnaround rate. Screwfix tend to have more experienced staff. Toolstation business is geared towards this, you understand and get what you want and it's in/out within 3mins. Screwfix, I can spend 15min querying about an item/setup and end up not buying anything - as such if just want to get the item and get on with the job, toolstation is the place to go. Toolstation stock packages are better and cost less (generally). This branch does well with stocks. Reviews are generally more realistic compared to 'amazon like' reviews you find in screwfix.”

“The only reason the room did not get five stars was a few little things that were evident but did not affect my stay. The ceiling above the air con showed black mould? And the clip on the toilet seat was missing but the seat worked just cosmetic. The room was big and there was a good quantity of coat hangers I did ask for more drinks and milk, staff was efficient. And pleasant and very helpful. Parking at night can be a bit tricky I came back late and all the spaces were full. I managed to squeeze in. Even though it was full the hotel was quiet.”
