“This is hands on the best place in London! Everything was spot on. The food is fantastic, and everything we ordered was just a joy to eat. Simple menu well done. The service was welcoming and the venue itself fit the rest of the experience perfectly. Surprisingly enough, it was among the cheapest we tried throughout this week of restaurant hopping. Such a jem!!!!!”

“Excellent selection of meaty and vegan burgers. I got the smokin' gun and it was great. Jerk chips nice and crispy with tasty dips. Only negative was that the patty was a bit thin so might be worth upgrading to two patties. Pub is a bit run down but adds to the charm and has a good vibe for the football too.”

“My compliments to the chef! Food is delicious and the portions are big. The service is always friendly and the coffee excellent. They have an outside area with double glazing and retractable roof so you can have the best of both worlds. A little gem of a cafe.”

“I have been going to this great little theatre for many years & I have never seen a bad show. It is such good value for money. I go every month either with my husband or a friend & we really look forward to it. The ticket & bar prices are very good too. What amazes me is that so many Caterham residents have no idea that we have a theatre in the town. They don't know what they are missing.”

“I love Umut 2000. I love the food. I love the staff. It seems if you purchase approximately 300 chicken Shish wraps across a 5-year period then you are rewarded with a framed picture on the wall. I’m not sure what they do with the humus but it’s topped with a mad butter sauce of deliciousness. I feel like someone said it was like a burnt butter and pomegranate molasses mix or something like that but I might have made that up completely. Either way I feel it sort of describes well. Not sure if it only come with the meat platter or every meal. The ribs in the meat platter are juicy lil boi’s. Yes pleeeeeasee me likey. If you are taking away then get a chicken Shish wrap. And don’t even think about not getting size large. Chicken, yes. Onion salad, yes. Soft bread, yes. Tip tip: order an additional side salad for extra fresh health gains.”

“In search of the perfect shawarma. This place is fantastic— show up hungry and leave happy. A VERY generous serving of chicken on the wrap is flavourful and delicious; perfectly placed along side the fresh toppings— The unique and clever play of rocket in the salad had my palate refreshed and begging for another bite. Top marks for the homemade wrap as well. Though to be a bit picky, I’d like it to be heat pressed on a grill after the shawarma construction for a little extra crunch and really make this a 12 out of 10. Well done Turqoise, an amazing shawarma and I will definitely be back. My search continues…”

“Uanama bellll!! Top, Top, Top!! Cafe' Amisha is the best Italian Restaurant in South-East London. All ingredients come directly from Italy, and all the chefs are Italian. All the waiters and Paola are incredibly kind and attentive. The main Chef, Leo, aka "The Maestro", is impressive. He cooks traditional recipes from Apulia and nationwide Italian food. Fregola, Pizza (ask for tuna and cipolla!) and fish are top at Amisha's cafe. At Easter time, ask for a Pastiera, a traditional Southern Italy Easter cake made. Maestro's pastiera is as good as my mum's. They also have a shop for Italian food which has really good stuff and Italian delicatessens. The owner, Francesco, is amazing. He is the most friendly and the nicest person ever. He is a natural people person, always smiling and happy. He also saved my life during the first lockdown and the food shortage. I bougth everything I needed there. He and his staff also delivered food to my place at any hour, including regular fresh fish deliveries.. He is also actively volunteering to help the NHS and the local community. A living hero, in a few words. He truly deserves a half-body statue at the nearby SPA garden.”

“Our meal was 2 hours of sheer food escapism. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed and felt it.the entire team were incredibly attentive and welcoming, but not overbearing. The food was exceptional, exciting and innovative and for the first time in a longtime my wife and I just basked in the amazing food and ambience. The whole setup was so wonderful the time flew by. The cocktails were incredible too. We were never without anything and we left feeling like we had gotten a bargain. Also Monica walked through the restaurant and said hello after I waved like a dork.
