“So impressed with this little pub!! I’ve driven past loads and felt like it deserved a visit. It’s less ‘micropub’ and more ‘classy bar’ vibes. Great music and amazing selection of drinks. They actually have taps on the tables with iPads where you can fill up your own cocktails or beers, what a super concept! The decor is sublime as it gives the impression you are in a holiday destination rather than in a pub in Blackfen. The icing on the cake was when I went to the ladies. Never have I ever been in an establishment where sanitary products, perfume and hair spray are provided, without the looky looky lady! I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you”

“What a delightful discovery. I visited Sidcup taking my son for his second jab and when he was done we popped round the corner for a bite to eat. We wondered passed a couple of cafes and noticed there seemed to be a bit of a bustle in this beautifully decorated establishment, so figured we'd see what it was all about. Pushed into the door and was immediately met by a vibe that lifted our spirits. Very welcoming and friendly staff soon guided us to an available table and presented us with menus. The menus were sturdy and well laid out. The variety was impressive. I wish a took a picture. Even though I was up for a fried breakfast there was something about the menu that made me feel like I was eating well. There was an enjoyable chatter going on in the place the whole time, it was clear the patrons were regulars and if I lived near this place I'm sure I would become one too. I can't praise this place enough.”

“My son absolutely loves this place. We go to all the special events (sometimes more than once) and he never gets bored there. There is so much for children to do. The staff are always friendly and helpful!”

“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

“Had a wonderful lunch at Sophie’s Choice celebrating my 70th Birthday. The food was delicious and plenty of it as usual with a wide choice. All my guests were very impressed. The staff and service were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend this gem of a restaurant”

“Great tasty food with a warming ambience. African food isnt always cooked well but I applaud the kitchen staff because I truely enjoyed the food. The only down side was that there were no cocktails of my choice but apart from that everyhing else was great. The DJ had me moving and the staff were very much welcoming. I would definitley be going back!”

“Great Wetherspoons pub. Compact and friendly. Good value food and drink. Staff helpful and welcoming, we stayed further along the road at the Travelodge so this place was ideal for a night cap, then breakfast in the mornings. Spotlessly clean first thing in the morning! (Credit to your cleaner! ) Good place to visit. Good breakfasts too, enjoyed.”

“I needed a place for my 30th birthday. I contacted Layaan late in the day and he was super helpful and accommodating. The hall is bright and clean with lots of food warming/serving facilities. There are also plenty of toilets.The staff were friendly and my family and friends had a great time celebrating with me. To make this venue even better - a late licence would be awesome :)”

“I cannot rate this place highly enough! I've been a customer for at least 12 yea4s and I can honestly say hand on heart I have NEVER had a bad meal! It's excellent every time, food tastes wonderful, is always hot and delivered in an incredible time frame. In some cases 20mins from ordering! They are in my opinion the best Chinese in this area!”
