“Myself and 2 colleagues arranged a conference party for 500 people at the London Aquarium with the help of Merlin Events. We are junior doctors and not events organisers so had no experience with anything like this previously. Merlin were brilliant, they took all of the stress out of organising something like this. The venue was amazing and everyone had a great time (including us as we left the running of the night to the excellent onsite staff). The bar staff were great - no queuing up at the bar (they had multiple open) and music good. Compared to prices of other London venues that we were quoted they were also great value (and a much better venue). I would definitely hold an event at the aquarium with the support of Merlin if we did this again.”

“Richard (Magic OZ) was brilliant, absolutely amazing from start to finish. I knew as soon as I spoke with him on the phone that he would fit into our wedding 'vibe' perfectly. He is so friendly, funny and obviously... magic! Everyone loved him from the children to the oldies. He tailored his tricks and performance accordingly and took the time out to spend some one-to-one time with my dad who has dementia so kept the tricks suitable for his ability etc. Would absolutely not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any occasion. “Quirky little cafe-bar. Had a perfectly nice pot of tea and a really good pain chocolat. I was the only customer in and me and the owner Ken spent the whole time chatting, mostly about photography. Many of his are on the walls, along with several other photographers. There's also a lot of music instruments hanging on the walls and ceiling, Mozart-themed chocolates and other gifts (as the name might suggest) imported from Vienna, classical music playing. Overally a nice interesting place to sit and while away some time taking in the overall ambience.”

“Very unassuming but as soon as you go in it's great. Lots of seating space, comfy sofas and plenty of space between tables to keep safe. The food is delicious, I recommend the full English! I was doing some work for a few hours while my bike was being serviced and the owner was more than happy to let me hang out there for the duration. The coffees are surprisingly cheap so I was expecting a cup of instant, but its a proper coffee machine. Absolutely delicious, other places could seriously take note! I think I had 3 while was there... Lovely service from the owner and I'm definitely going back again.”

“Magic Sam was the entertainer for Emma and Oscars 5 year old's circus themed birthday party and we couldn't be happier. It was super easy to communicate with Magic Sam, from the initial email query to on the day to coordinate the timing of food and cake. Magic Sam did an amazing job keeping the kids entertained for 2 whole hours! And thats with a big distraction of a great outdoor play area with sand pit that came with the venue. So huge kudos to him!! The kids loved the circus tricks and Magic show and all parents were happy to have some time to enjoy themselves too. Highly recommended and would book Magic Sam again without a doubt :)”

“We returned for the third time with our three grandchildren, aged 14 to 22 to complete the Amber Room. As previously, we all had a great time, found it trickier than the previous two games, but with some helpful support from Kathryn, completed the game. We all enjoyed the challenge, and finding an event to accommodate the different ages is a challenge in itself, but Escape in 60 fits the bill. Thoroughly recommend it as a family favourite, Do visit!”

“This is one of the most beautiful art galleries I have ever visited! Stunning decor, beautiful artwork and very welcoming staff. They even offer you a very nice cup of tea when you get in! :) The gallery specialises in contemporary pop surrealism and figurative art, and exhibits both emerging and established artist of high calibre. Worth a visit if you're around Portobello area!!”

“I took up salsa lessons 7 months ago ,I've become addicted to it my first teachers are Heidi and Trever from Sweetlead on a Wednesday evening, I also go to other classes on a Thursday evening and Friday evening to get more practice and floor time .I can honestly say that sweetlead is the best class to go to the Teachers have more time for you and the atmosphere is far better than the other classes I've attended . “LCT was a wonderful way to introduce myself to the world of TEFL! The online course was very well paced and convenient, with frequent minor assessments that ensured I was retaining the information that I was learning. A lot of the teaching methods covered reminded me of various strategies used by teachers I grew up with, which helped pique my interest. Overall, it served as a very good refresher for English topics I had grown less familiar and helped me understand various teaching methods which I feel has help me to succeed and get a job as an ESL Teacher abroad.”

“My wife found Stella on the internet after reading the good reviews. We booked her for our daughters 4th birthday. All of the kids had a fantastic time. Stella arrived on time and with all of her equipment. She started off with face painting and which was cool and the designs were excellent. She then started the party with a magic show, a story, pass the parcel and balloon making. With music of course. All of the kids were very hungry afterwards which was a good sign. Stella did everything with a good heart and she genuinely puts in a lot of effort in what she does. Thank you for making our daughters 4th birthday party memorable!”

“Amazing new restaurant in the heart of London! Great atmosphere and above all fantastic flavours bringing back beautiful memories from back home. Visited with a colleague after work to see for ourselves what is the hype with 1905 London and now we see why. Everything we tried from the Dakos, Gamopilafo and cocktails were exceptional There is also an extra area in the basement which is great for private dining bookings or celebrations Will definitely be back to try the brunch menu which is a must according to the staff”

“Just moved to the area and was in need of a good local coffee shop and Balcone is incredible. Not only do they make incredible coffee, they stock lots of different roasters on rotation. Being able to pick up Cat and Cloud (at a super reasonable price) is incredible!”

“A historical London theatre with great decorations in central London. I came to see the Nutcracker with my mum this year! We sit on the upper circle. The view was good and no restrictions. But the legroom is quite squashed cause it won’t have enough space. The Nutcracker show was fabulous! Will definitely watch again another Christmas time!”

“Been here with my family on several occasions now and it is a lot of fun! The facility is very clean and well-maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The trampolines and other attractions are in great condition and they offer a lot of other fun activities like the Clip and Climb walls. Their prices are reasonable and we have also held a birthday party here. I would definitely recommend Jump In Esher to anyone looking for a fun and safe indoor experience. Many Thanks Donna Thomas”

“A wonderful small theatre right next to west Norwood station. The building itself is rather impressive itself and internally it is rustic and fits in with the building itself. The bar downstairs was welcoming and homely and despite an issue with their cellar, they had a reasonable selection available. The auditorium has a good rake on the seating meaning that I didn't feel too subconscious that I was blocking the person sitting behind me, but not too steep that it makes it a bad viewing angle for the audience. I will definitely be adding this to the list of theatres I keep an eye out on what's going on at.”

“I did central last night and all of the venues were amazing, incredible music and fun people. The hosts were amazing. Paz and Sonali made our night, both of them were super fun and nice to us. They were always making sure we were having a good time. 10/10 would recommend!!!”
