"Dropped in last minute for lunch with our mum. Warm welcome and shown to a table overlooking the garden. Our meals were nice and plentiful and good quality. We opted for the ham hock and hunters chicken meals. Our waitress was brilliant and ensured we had an enjoyable meal. We definately will return."

"A nice courtyard-style beer garden outside, parking, craft beers and some decent wines by the glass. Laid back friendly staff. The building dates back to 1743 and is impressive. Great for a meeting with friends and other dog walkers. Dogs welcome. Easy to park. We didn’t eat here but the menu is British typical of the Marston’s chain."
