“We absolutely love this place. Whatever you have to eat always is fresh and taste great and the selection of coffee is awsome. Its a really funny little place you can just feel at home in with big sofa seating upstairs to chill and chat or more formal table and chair seating if that's what you prefer. Just love coming here.”

“Beautiful place to spend a day. Not far off the M25 junction 9. Although it feels a million miles once you get in there. If you can go during the week it would be a lot quieter. They organise loads of activities it has changed so much since I was last there. Its a place that inspires and helps relax you.”

“Lovely family run restaurant. You can tell everyone who works there cares about the place. We were a big group and catered for very well including my grandparents with specific dietaries. My baller cousins from USA were over and they made jokes about their watches which was funny.”

“We booked for 2 as the reviews showed fabulous food and staff. We chose 2 menus, one vegetarian and the plates just didn't stop coming. We couldn't believe how much food we were being served. We drank Lebanese wine and beer which were also excellent. While we still had plenty of food on the table, the friendly waitress brought more tasting plates and announced she would bring the main course in 15 minutes! We were amazed that there was more food to come. The restaurant is a real gem. The staff are genuinely warm and explained each dish as it was served. We loved the wine wall and the coloured lighting. Will definitely return to repeat the experience. We had to take away the baklava as we were simply too full. That was lovely too. Thank you.”

“Came here for dinner with a friend and we had a really nice time. The food was tasty, I had the pork belly with dauphinoise for mains and the churros for dessert. The service was also good too. Our server, Livy, was very attentive and friendly.”

“We had a great time with our 2 year old. Soft play inside great with varied areas suitable for littler ones and older (our little one liked to play in both). Great outdoor play including bouncy pillows, toddler climbing frame, older climbing frame (again loved both) and a sandpit. Then an animal barn to go and look at lots of different ones, the donkeys, pgymy goats and harvest mice were big hits, with option of petting zone at particular times. Great choice of hot/cold food and drink for kids and parents alike. Thoroughly recommend! They're hoping to add even larger seating area inside with softplay and a roleplaying village (we've been to roleplay centres before and toddler loved it) making it even more likely we'll come back on top of existing facilities.”

“It’s Pantomime time and have just been to see a matinee performance of Cinderella with Brian Conley. Put simply - amazing, Brian makes the Panto, with plenty of adult gags that’ll go over the children’s heads and lots of staged improvisations with the whole crew. The ugly sisters are award winning (of yes they are!) and are equally hilarious. Brian really is the one who brings the house down with lots of his TV show (it’s a puppet, Dangerous Buttons Brian and more). If you’re in 2 minds don’t be, tickets are cheap compared to London pricing and you can park in the carpark right next door. I’m half tempted to go again (oh no you’re not - sorry I couldn’t resist!”

“We visited the theatre jan 15th to see a friends son in a show. The theatre was so lovely and had a great bar but what stood out was the customer care. On the way home to eastbourne our 5 year old noticed her pudgsey bear was missing. Too far to turn back I made a plan to contact the theatre to try to track him down. I made an enquiry online via ATG tickets who provided the phone number I needed to contact the theatre directly. I spoke with Simon who could potentially be one of the kindest people out there. He had pudgsey bear safe and sound and arranged to post him home. Well when pudgsey got back home from his adventures he had picked up a few extra treats along the way. Our daughter was thrilled and I was relieved to have him home. Thank you so much Simon you are a super star.”

“We love going to the Jovial. The team are always absolutely lovely and go out of their way to make you feel as welcome as possible. We popped down for Mother's Day and enjoyed the carvery with a group of 14. Big shout out to James for helping with our numerous table size adjustments (and always with a smile), and to Mark for the food which was absolutely top notch!”

“My wife and I have visited the Crown and Anchor on a few occasions since the new owners have taken over and always had a lovely time but have never sampled the food. On Saturday 1st October we booked lunch with 9 family members to get together for my dads birthday who we sadly lost 13 years ago. The food was out of this world, all home cooked. I had the cheese burger which I have to say was up there with the best I have ever had. Lasagna, pizzas, Halloumi burger and the liver and bacon were ordered (dads favourite, which my mum had and said was incredible, her words). Everyone said how amazing their food was. (Kids food was great too). The beers we ordered were perfect, these guys really do know what they are doing.m when it comes to pouring the perfect pint. Can’t rate and thank Wendy and her team highly enough. Nothing was too much, we really did feel like royalty. The tribute to dad was incredible. It was the perfect place to go with Wendy and her Husband Marco being Crystal Palace fans as so are we as a family. Wendy put a palace scarf on the table and put a pint there for dad. It’s these sort of touches that mean so much. We told them we would be bringing our German Shepherd with us and we couldn’t believe what they did, a lovely bed at the end of the table for him to chill in. We also ordered a lovely dinner for him which he really enjoyed. Such a lovely dog friendly pub. The play kids area is amazing, kept the little ones entertained for ages. Wendy even set up an art and craft table for the two little ones while we had our lunch as they had theirs first, again kept them entertained. She ended up being like the pied piper with all the kids in the pub following her around. She took them down to the river that runs along the back of the amazing garden to feed the ducks and swans. So way and above. Again, thank you so much guys for the most amazing afternoon, we really can’t thank you enough. I urge everyone to try this pub, you will not be disappointed. And lastly let’s not forget the barman (sorry, didn’t catch your name), amazing service, always remembered each round and couldn’t do enough for us. One last thing, The Crown and Anchor take food allergies really seriously, there are no nuts on the premises, so if any of you have an allergy, another reason to try this wonderful pub. “Everyone is so friendly and my nails always turn out beautiful! Very quick service! My friend and I walked in and had immediate service for gel manicures. Peacocks Nail Salon is my go-to for a great manicure. The salon is always clean and comfortable, and the techs are friendly and do fantastic work. Always happy with my dipping powder nails.”

“A lovely meal! Since moving to the area we have been nothing but disappointed with the indians we have ordered. After looking at some reviews for Eastern Taste we decided to give it a go. Absolutely delicious, ordered the menu for 2 with some extra starters which was perfect for 3 adults and great value too. We will definitely be making this our regular.”

“First visit today to meet a friend for breakfast. They have a nice selection of breakfast options on the menu all freshly cooked once ordered. The staff were very nice and we had a warm welcome when we arrived. The service was excellent and very attentive. The food was very good and generous portion sizes, You also get unlimited toast and preserves with your order though we couldn't eat too much of that as the main meal was so filling. It was reasonably priced too, there were 4 of us and it worked out at £9 per head when the bill came. Will certainly go again we had a nice visit and a good first experience.”

“We booked Madhatters softplay for a NCT joint first birthday party and everyone loved it. It was beautifully set out, lots of room for the little ones and lots of different things to play with.
