“We undertook a large renovation of our home and based on recommendations of friends we approached InHouse Designs. Based on prior experience with other similar companies we were a bit hesitant, but there was no need to be. We provided a brief of what was needed which was basically a new kitchen, utility room, 2 ensuites and family bathroom. We wanted to budget in certain areas and spend more in others, the vast selection of products caters for this really well. The team were excellent, put together some great design proposals with practical considerations that were not highlighted by previous companies we had visited. A very competitive price was given especially combining the tiles. We placed our order and over the period of the renovation build, inhouse design were excellent keeping me updated on the progress of my order and working around the renovation project schedule which was not going to plan!. We are delighted with our Kitchen, utility room and bathrooms. We look back and think which companies we had used that we would recommend to others, no hesitations to recommend this company for sure.”

“Boys and Girls Stanmore is such a lovely nursery. All 3 of my children have gone here with just my 2 yo son left. The setting is well kept, clean and a very bright and welcoming place for both the children and parents. Every member of staff is friendly and helpful. Reception staff are great and always a very reliable source for communication which is key when you are leaving your children in someone else’s care. The carers in all the rooms of the nursery are so wonderful - kind, caring and my children established great bonds with all the carers as well as their key person. There are great facilities and you can tell a lot of thought goes into all aspects of the nursery from the toys to the displays and the activities provided each day. The new garden is amazing and the kids are always so excited to get outside. The food made on site by the nursery’s own chef is fantastic.. my children ate/eat so well at nursery and are a lot more open to trying different foods. Both my daughters were ready and well prepared to start their school journey with a huge thanks to Boys and Girls and I have no doubt my son will be the same. I would highly recommend boys and girls to anyone looking for childcare!”

Bonus: no alcohol! Cartons promotes community and love that emanates from its owner Ben and pemeates to all who walk through Carton's door. Ben knows and speaks love to his food, staff and guests. We need to make sure we all tell Ben how much we value Ben and his contribution to our Stanmore community. Many of his most appreciative guests do not use social media so I am speaking up here on their behalf! Did you know that Ben will also cater for your afternoon tea events? Recently Ben provided a wonderful sandwich and cake spread for my fathers 96th birthday and my parents platinum wedding celebration tea, for 20 guests two days in a row. “Popped in to buy new shisha, ended up spending well over £400 not because of their overselling ( doesn’t happen ) but only because everything they have is amazing. Wife told me it was the best shisha she had, ever - high quality tobaccos I’ve purchased together with shisha itself and heating management system made it. Would definitely pop in more often if they’d be closer to central London. On the other hand - they’re open 7/7 so next time I’ll fancy a relaxing ride I’ll definitely come over.”
