“I just purchased a Sleep Story Luxury 2000 divan set and was very impressed with the whole set up at Furniture Village Guildford. Talking to a properly qualified salesman (Ian McPhee) who actually knew what he was talking about was like a breath of fresh air. I also visited Dreams & DFS but couldn’t find anyone to help without them reading off the description cards attached to the beds. Ian was absolutely brilliant and a very nice chap also.”

“Location worked for us. Had work Christmas Party in one of the function rooms with a sit down meal with sharing plates on each table. The sharing platter food was absolutely delicious, with plenty for everyone. Only slight niggle was that the traditional Christmas meal platters arrived in intervals, so ate delicious turkey and pigs in blankets, then a while later, the vegetables arrived. But as said, all were absolutely delicious, exceeding any sit down one plate Christmas dinner I've ever had at Christmas party. We were about 60 people. The room size was perfect - cosy and buzzing with chatter. We had our own reception room with a bar outside. We elected to also provide mocktails, which were excellent. You can attach your iPhone to a lead for your own play list in the bar and eating areas and could dance in the bar area.”

“ESQUIRES is my favourite coffee shop in these parts. The coffee is always good and never differs from this standard. The Food is fresh and tastes of quality. My treat is the English Breakfast which is cooked fresh and NO microwave warming at all. The staff are all excellent and VERY accommodating.”

“Nestled on the corner of St Martin's Lane and St Martin's Court this famous Old pub is a well preserved relic of Victorian life, packed full of history. Call in for a beer! The mahogany bar and cut glass windows and panels are magnificent. What makes any venue is the people and the staff here are terrific; so kind, so helpful. We had a Festive buffet lunch for 7 in The Whisky Room. The food was good and there was a wonderful atmosphere in the whole place. Not so easy for wheelchairs everywhere in the pub but possible. The loos are in the basement via step narrow stairs. The whole place is fun and reasonably priced for theatreland. Thank you 'staff of The Salisbury' we had a great time.”

“I bought an Amalfi Double Hanging Egg Chair from Rattan Garden Furniuture, online pictures looked great and the price compared with many others online especially for the double chair was excellent. The idea was firstly it would look great in the garden and secondly somewhere to sit in the sun or cosied up at night under a stary sky with my significant other as its quite large. Well great idea if we could get our teenage daughter out of it, has become her Tiktoc text hub, so have to consider another one now. The chair is very comfortable and sturdy and to easy to unintentionally fall asleep in it. The quality is good and we would have no hesitation in purchasing again from Rattan Garden Furniture. The online porcess was simple, delivery was very fast considering we live in Scotland and also free, amazing considering the weight of the package. Anyway will add photos, but a fantastic purchase!!”

“We have purchased garden furniture, a sideboard, sofas and and an armchair from here and the quality was excellent and the prices competitive. The management and staff are knowledgeable, very friendly and exceedingly helpful throughout the purchasing process from selection, ordering and finally delivery. I noticed one reviewer stated that some items aren't always available to purchase the same day but I think this is often the case with larger items wherever you go and personally knowing that something is being specifically made for you outweighs this and waiting a while for its delivery is not an issue for most people. In a marketplace where more and more is moving online I would urge you to support our local traders before they all disappear. Keep up the good work.”

“We went in about late afternoon/early evening without a booking, Manager Matthew, although very busy was very accommodating and said he would get us a table in an hour despite a notice on the door to say that as it's Mother's Day, they were sorry they could not accommodate walk in customers. We went back in an hour and were given a table and the most courteous of service from the manager as well as Courtney, a very charming and efficient and friendly server. She was attentive and treated us very well. What a lovely first experience at this Mitchel's & Butlers chain. Thank you Matthew and Courtney for your attentive and friendly service. Will definitely recommend and the food was good and piping hot as well. This is with the fact that it was quite busy with many tables waiting to be served. Well done and thank you again. “Fantastic customer service by Ted when I was purchasing a new mattress. I ordered via phone months after having visited in person and the older price was honoured. Delivery charge was very fair too. The delivery men (contracted) were a little sour but it was the end of their day; no stars off for HoR just an FYI for customers. They were not able to take shoes off due to H&S so just something to be aware of.”
