“Me and my family had a lovely night out at Zizzi on Saturday 21st January 2023. The customer service was more than excellent. The fryer had stopped working and it was quite pressured and very busy but our server was amazing, wish I got his name. Food was good, I ordered something new and I didn't like it so swapped me my husband and was offered another pizza for my husband which I declined as there was nothing wrong with the food, it was a personal preference. But it was so kind to make that offer.”

“It was a lazy Sunday lunch. We were the only ones . Loved all that we ordered , Prawn Tempura , Chicken soup , chicken Penang curry, chef’s special King prawn. Would definitely recommend”

“Used this restaurant in it's previous guise of Punjab and was disappointed when it changed hands and became Indiagate. Fears were confirmed on the first visit. Heard recently ownership had changed again and decided to give it another go. The improvement was marked. Food much better and a general impression that the place was well set to get back to former glories.”

“Great service and good quality food. The music was a bit booming for a Sunday morning and we asked them to turn it down and they did and were really nice about it. Great coffee and good selection of teas. Sourdough toast was delicious. The pancakes are lovely too.”

“We had dinner here yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Generous servings, home cooked meals and very friendly staff. We had beef brisket pho and satay chicken for main which are both very tasty, but the highlight of the night for me was the mixed starters of prawn toast, satay skewers, spring rolls and ribs - postios were very generous, everything tasty and was not oily at all unlike other shops. Will definitely come back to try the clay pot dishes and maybe the buffet too!”

“Just wanted to update on my old review. As always a great selection of cask, keg and ciders plus the more exotic cans and bottles in the fridge. From IPAs to sours and stouts, the Belle has it all. They do have a wide selection of gins and mixers too so if that's your bag you'll be satisfied with what they've got.”

“I have been here before with my family and absolutely love it- beautiful restaurant and perfect atmosphere for all occasions!!! This time I was craving popadoms so ordered 2 for collection, when I arrived to collect, the boss said not to worry about paying and gave me more than what I had ordered as a kind gesture. He was so kind and talkative, So so happy with my popadoms and big pot of sauce! Much better than shop bought and the owner really made my day. Thank you!”

“What is fantastic place. The young staff were wonderful : cheerful, helpful, quick with a laugh and just genuinely nice. Lots of room without being on top of each other. Whilst we don't eat, the menu looked good and they have a 1918 burger where £1 from each one goes to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal. They have a dart board and the pub was very clean. The Guinness was excellent as was the Darkstar Hophead. I must admit I loved this place. If you're about, give it a go”

“I visited for a company meal and I was very impressed. When walking in, the arrival area and bar looked amazing. We were seated at a table by the large window looking into the kitchen. It was great to see the food being prepared and the chefs at work. All of the food we were served was very good. I had the calamari starter and the beyti kebab main. Both were fantastic and large sizes. I was not able to tackle a desert afterwards but all that were served looked very good. The staff were so attentive and helpful that it really made the whole experience one to remember. I would recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.”

“I come here most Saturdays; the staff are friendly and the food has always been of excellent quality. I find it has a much better atmosphere, the food better and a lot more calmer and welcoming than the Furze Wren Wetherspoon's which is down the road.”

“Chan's serves lovely food ... it's a hit in the Bexleyheath and Barnehurst areas. The people taking orders are very polite and delivery is prompt and free (if over a certain amount) (or you can pick it up yourselves). The salt and pepper chicken is too good. Their duck chow mien is always a hit in my house and the king prawns are fresh and succulent. The vegetable spring rolls are just as crispy and tasty as they are supposed to be.”

“Had a lunch date with my mate of over 40 years. She suggested the Yacht. I found this venue warm and welcoming from the moment I entered. The food and drinks were well priced and free car parking. My friend had the steak in ale pie, I had Fish n Chips sitting in our cosy table, we were served generous portions of food which was hot n tasty. I strongly recommend and will visit again soon ;0)”

“Welcoming and cosy, I've been lucky enough to enjoy dinner here twice now in as many weeks. Somewhere my partner and I have driven past of numerous occasions on our way to gigs, we finally decided to pop in and see what it was like. The staff are very friendly, the decor and atmosphere is relaxing and the food is phenomenal. Both times we have had the fried chicken to start. Vin loves the surf and turf and I throughly enjoyed the fajitas the first time we dined there - and then the roast beef dinner last Sunday. With awesome puddings and cocktails to choose from - we've left with very full bellies after both visits. With parking onsite, coloring activities available for the kiddies and very reasonably priced/collectable toys for the kids to purchase, children can enjoy their time at The Travellers Home as well as the Mum's and Dad's. Really nice restaurant. We like it so will definitely return again soon.”

“We had a fantastic family birthday celebration at the newly refurbished William Camden. After what could have turned into a disastrous evening due to unforseen staff shortage in the kitchen, Wai the manager turned things around and even cooked for us! We enjoyed a lovely dinner and a few drinks. The kids were entertained with the board games provided too.”

“I have been trying various Indian/Pakistani/Bangladeshi restaurants in the area and more often than not one thing is good and the rest is not. Today I placed a large order with Radhuny and the pickiest amongst us couldn't out her fork down. I won't say it's straight out of Delhi but I will say everything we received was tasty so if your in doubt try it out.”

“I ordered online, and collected. For main, rice and a veg side plus spring rolls, my bill was under £20, and they threw in free prawn crackers. The food was ready when I arrived, a little earlier than the time given, and hot enough to stay hot enough to eat despite my 30 min journey home (although it was insulated in quite a lot of vegetation awaiting disposal hoarded in the back of my car!) The food was tasty and good value for money. it saved me cooking after a long working day and I have enough for another meal! I'll be back!”
