"Went here for Sunday Roast. Food was tasty but they had run out of Yorkshire Pudding and the only thing that was hot was pigs in blanket & gravy. The rest was warm. Deserts took so long to come out that it was melted and the Erin Mess smelt gone off so we didn’t eat it and requested to get it taken off the bill which they did but brought the wrong bill in the end. Despite the chaos and long waiting times, the waiters were friendly and food was good."

"A big thank you to everyone at The Stables for such a wonderful lunch at our wedding celebration! The staff were very attentive and accommodating, especially Jo Jo who was extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome. Despite the pub being quite busy on a hot Friday, our lunch was served fast and to all guests at once. The Stables is definitely a place I would recommend if you are planning to get married at Danson House! Whether you choose one of the private rooms or the public area, the charm of the pub makes it an ideal spot to celebrate your big day with good food!"

"We hosted our wedding reception at Danson Stables back in November and had a great time. We had the full menu available to us if we wished but made the decision to select 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 desserts for guests to choose from. Not many people have Burgers or Fish and Chips on their wedding menu but we love to be different. All our guests were extremely complimentary of the food on offer and portions were very generous so everyone left very happy. With 45 Guests we had just enough space for everyone and even had a make shift dance floor. he use of the speaker system was complimentary enabling us to have music throughout and we had both confetti and sparklers in the carpark.
