“Escape for us as parents of a toddler. Phenomenal fun. Easy to find. Nice touch with small bar and tabletop games to warm up with as you wait for your game. Really fun games master/ Sarah added the voice to enhance our room ‘Blackbeards Treasure’. Great help where needed although the games master did make us sweat and think which is great! We only managed the room with 9 seconds spare!”

“Lovely weekend lunch! The menu isn't extensive but there is enough choice and nobody felt they had to compromise. The kids menu was very good, plenty of options to cater for simpler and more adventurous tastes. The triple cooked chips, these days almost a pub cliché, are worthy of a special mention! Clean plates all around. What more can you ask for?”

“Perhaps the best Sunday roast I had in 8y living in the UK. I’ve been there with friends and I ordered the Jacob’s ladder to share. The meat was absolutely phenomenal, incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked (12h slow cook). Each vegetable served with meat (roast potato, carrot and butternut squash purée, etc) was flavourful as well as the Yorkshire pudding. The pub is very nice and it’s located just 5 min away from the old market square in Kingston. Friendly staff, reasonable prices”

“Just spent a lovely evening at the Black Horse for the first time. Took my family for a Sunday Roast and it was exceptional. Really great food and atmosphere, plus service with a big smile from the lad behind the bar Jamie. All in all a great way to end the weekend.”

“This is the second time that I have been to Kingston tenpin bowling in the last few months. I have to say this experience was 100% better than my last experience. I appreciated the level of respect I received and reassurance that this visit would be better. I have to say that the communication I had with the area manager gave me perspective and made me have better respect because he truly understood the meaning of customer service and customer loyalty. We also had food and I really would recommend the ultimate burger with the crispy fries. When you first look at it it looks like it's not going to taste very nice or have much flavour. But from the first bite to the last chip I enjoyed every single bite and I would definitely order it again.”

“My daughter visited the club for the first time last weekend. She had an amazing time and I was beyond impressed with the policies they have in place to ensure the welfare of vulnerable girls. They absolutely look out for their patrons; their welfare and safety. It is nice to know as a parent that these clubs have protective policies in place. I wish all clubs did and I commend them for all they do. Truly remarkable!”

“Richard (Magic OZ) was brilliant, absolutely amazing from start to finish. I knew as soon as I spoke with him on the phone that he would fit into our wedding 'vibe' perfectly. He is so friendly, funny and obviously... magic! Everyone loved him from the children to the oldies. He tailored his tricks and performance accordingly and took the time out to spend some one-to-one time with my dad who has dementia so kept the tricks suitable for his ability etc. Would absolutely not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any occasion. “Called in for lunch yesterday & enjoyed delicious food (my partner had the loaded fries & I had a chickpea burger with fries) & drinks (I had a yummy but somewhat potent Singapore Sling!). Had a real buzz about it (despite the fact it wasn't that busy at 12) & the attention to detail from a decor perspective was great (lots of nods to music & even a skeleton!!). Staff were smiley & efficient too. Will deffo go back again!”

“Great bar! The staff were amazing, friendly and fun! Great choices of drinks including rattler in bottles which I was sooo happy about! The jukebox is awesome full of all rock metal and lots of other music! Pool table is good and a nice function room. Not the biggest place but had lots of fun.”
