“I am currently at Euston with heavy bags and a dog, so finding a place to stop and get food was difficult. However, when I got to Tortilla, I was greeted with a lovely welcome and smile from the lady serving (Aida) who told me to take a seat outside, and she would come out to me to take my order. All the stress I had travelling with the dog and baggage was removed - brilliant customer service. I’ll be back here for sure when I’m next passing through. Thank you Aida!”

“I ordered here for the first time and I loved the food. The brown stew fish was so delicious and flavoursome, the rice and peas were tasty, the steamed vegetables were enjoyable and the dumpling was good. The dumpling was thrown in for free which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are very generous, really good value for money. I phoned the restaurant to see if the rice and peas were included with the brown stew fish and the woman on the phone was really warm and friendly. I've tried many Caribbean takeaways in East London and this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend!”

“I discovered this place after a friend told me about it, and as it's no more than a stroll away, I was able to join her before she had swallowed more than a few bites of what looked to be a rather tasty omelette. Seeing the size of the courtyard and its location out of sight and smell of the pollution of Wood St, I immediately thought of my cycling group, where about half are either vegan or vegetarian, so when I went to order, my first questions covered the subject. Curiosity satisfied, I then ordered what had leaped to my attention from the comprehensive menu - a meat feast of two of the East London Sausage Company's finest bangers married to two rashers of their best back bacon. Consternation abounded, only sorted by my explanation that my sordid devotion to the carnivore cause is only mitigated by my need to cater for the needs of those who join my social bike rides, and since I had only my self to consider, I thought I would treat myself. Which I did. It was DELICIOUS, and subsequent visits allowed me to explore the rest of the menu, to my replete satisfaction. One of these days I'll even bring a bike ride here...”

“Attended two days training here, didn't stay the night unfortunately, employer too tight. Lovely hotel and buffet breakfast is free for guests or £7.95 Which was lovely and very good value. Strangely, they don't serve Lunch or Dinner but plenty of local places to go”

“Another fantastic stay at the station hotel. This time we took up the offer of the winter retreat deal. The food was exceptional as per normal. First time we've had the fillet steak in the restaurant and both myself and my wife said that it was one of the best steaks we've had anywhere in the world. It is definitely a Hildenborough gem and we will be back soon.”

“We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“Before boarding a long-journey train, I decided to try Prezzo with my family as it was conveniently located within the train station. We were seated promptly and the waiters accomodated for extra additions who joined us slightly later. Do not visit if you're in too much of a hurry as it does take approximately 15 minutes for the pizzas to be made! That said, we did have time to spare and really enjoyed the food. The total bill was quite expensive, but I guess that's to be expected at any eatery within train stations.”

“Had to book two rooms last minute due to finding our AirBnB room was absolutely disgusting, having travelled down for a family funeral. Leah from reception was great, really helpful and accommodating, fitting us in and sorting requests for extra towels, blankets and a heater. On the whole, customer service has been brilliant. Can't fault the team (only two visible members of staff - working very hard). Credit to the chain and their hotel. Cant thank them enough”

“Compact guest house accommodation, has basics covered and some extras. Gated parking so very secure, however a little tight round the parking areas. Bathrooms were hotel like and living rooms had a sink, toaster fridge etc. Perfect for a few nights while visiting Legoland or Thorpe park for example. Lovely and quiet area, saw dear crossing road just outside. Well balanced value for money, would recommend.”

Would definitely go again. Their menu is confusing to understand but if you ask the staff, they are happy to explain and tell you what they have.
