"Great Caribbean dine-in and takeaway venue which pre-dates all of the hipster eateries within spitting distance by many years. They sell good patties and all menu items across the board are worth trying. Run by the same couple for a long time, service is always friendly and fast. Recommended."
"Great local place doing Caribbean food. I'm a white man in his forties, so I'm not an expert on West Indian cuisine but the food is always fresh and tasty, and the lunchtime deal involves a lot of delicious food for a fiver. The decor is cheap and cheerful, but the service is friendly."

"I ordered here for the first time and I loved the food. The brown stew fish was so delicious and flavoursome, the rice and peas were tasty, the steamed vegetables were enjoyable and the dumpling was good. The dumpling was thrown in for free which was a nice touch. The portion sizes are very generous, really good value for money. I phoned the restaurant to see if the rice and peas were included with the brown stew fish and the woman on the phone was really warm and friendly. I've tried many Caribbean takeaways in East London and this one is by far the best. I would highly recommend!"
