“Enjoyed a birthday meal with a group of seven last evening. Christmas Dinner was superb, huge variety of accompanying vegetables which really brought home the phrase “all the trimmings”. Two of the group had general menu items which were equally enjoyed. Super service, excellent timings. Coming back for another this month, so good. The following Wednesday - came back with my wife for a second Christmas meal. Every bit as enjoyable as the first, so there is consistency. Thank you to all the staff!”

“We came here for a private event and the food and service was exceptional. The meat was cooked to perfection and had amazing flavor. The appetizers were also well done. The service was great and handled a large party very well.”

“I ordered a burger which I did not like and the kind man serving us made us new burgers, wings and a pizza all as a complimentary since we did not like the burgers, he speaks to all of his customers very kindly and makes sure you enjoy your food and get your money’s worth! “Great pizzeria with a unique menu, quality ingredients and a classic feel. I have eaten here three times now in the past couple of weeks. Every time the food has been quick to arrive and so tasty!!! The menu is relatively small compared to large chain restaurants but it’s definitely a case of quality over quantity! The drinks menu has a couple of wines, local beers and non alcoholic options. Service has always been quick and with a smile. Overall would heartily recommend and would return!”

“Always would be a 5 star for me. I don’t even know the amount of times I’ve been. Never disappoints. Always super fresh! Crew is amazing and Kenan is simply THE best! And one of the main reasons I keep coming back. Their fish is definitely one of the best in town. With a perfect size menu and simple dishes made to perfection. Their new Prawn and Cod Gyozas are to die for! And of course the cheese cake!”

“What a Gem of a place. Seemingly, in the middle of nowhere. Arrived by taxi from Uxbridge, booked a table prior to a evening's entertainment cabaret show at the local Memorial hall, "When we are Married". The Black Horse, is warm and inviting, we stopped though not long enough to get a drink as Franco the host ushered us through to the restaurant and upgraded our table seeing that we were quite burly lads. We took a prime table with surround views of the entire establishment. Was warm and cosy with the din of family and friends in full conversation and laughter. For aperitif we had a Negroni and my brother had a Aperol spritz and a bottle of white wine with the mains. I had a Slow cooked Pork belly with Savoy cabbage and dauphinoise and an additional dauphinoise, an absolutely and fabulous meal the entire meal was delightful. Will cherish the fabulous moments and foodie memories (yum-yum). Staff were very accommodating and Chef was as pretty as her food delicious. I wanted to stay, though sadly had to go.”

“On the menu for weekend 10/11th Feb 2018: Hu Time Nam Vang - tapioca noodles in pork broth, with succulent prawns, char sui pork, pork mince garnished with spring onions coriander and Chinese chive. Really excellent a wonderful break from my usual Pho I espied Banh mi 108 about a month back walking out of the tesco opposite. It's hidden away in an an unpretentious corner with a lite lime facade and no fancy display. To be honest if you aren't looking for it toh won't know it. However something about the place is inviting and cozy, and I kind of made a mental nite to gi and explore asap. Having tried out some excellent Vietnamese meat rolls in Birmingham last year, I was looking forward to coming in and comparing. Needless to say rhe ace is exceptional. The sUmmer roles were fresh made, rolled up delicately aromatic greens, some pork and prawns. Delicioso . Follows with a steaming hot bowl if Pho, beef soup and noodles with more greens, chillies and beansprouts. The broth was light, and fresh made and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed a great service. Will go back for more”

“Simply the best Indian food in this area of Surrey - and we've tried most of them I think. Now we just stick with Rasoy, visiting probably once per week for two years now. We've taken friends and family, and never once been let down. Freshly made, delicious food, always spot on, always looked after.”

“The food here was excellent and the service was great too. The only (small) criticism would be that the lighting is too bright but that's just being pedantic. The pizza is cooked on the lightest homemade base and you can taste the quality of the ingredients they use right down to the delicious tomato sauce. I will definitely be coming back to try the pasts dishes and other delights.”

“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”

“This Saturday, we had been to Shobha,s Rasoi. One thing to keep in mind there there is no parking for Shobha Rasoi and its on the Harrow High Stree but you can park your car in spencer lane which has free parking but spaces are limited. We were not aware of so we parked our car in Locket lane which is charged parking but after 4 pm its free as it was mentioned. We reached there after 7 pm so it was not an issue parking over there. Then we went to Shobha Rasoi. When we entered gate, there was an arrangement for hand sanitizer and once you confirm your booking, you would be accompanied by staff to the relevant place. Although not big but ambience was amazing. All staffs were very nice. We had placed an order for starter and the service was really very quick. We ordered our main courses in anticipation that probably it would take time but before we could finish our starter we got our main courses. Foods my god , it was super delicious. We had got this type of delicious foods after very long time. The taste was like we used to have in India in restaurants. Its really worth visiting this restaurant if you have never been over there.”

“Writing this review a bit late but if you want breakfast/brunch and good coffee in Tooting then this is your place (highly recommend the French toast -you’ll notice this is one of the only places in Tooting you’ll be able to get it, and the avo on sourdough). I used to live walking distance to the cafe and and very much miss it. The service is top notch, -I don’t know the managers name but he was always friendly and I noticed he would acknowledge each and every customer coming in which is quite cool as you don’t see all managers doing that. If you’re worried about missing out on a busy weekend, you can always book a table Opentable.com, there are a few outside and the rest are indoors.”

“My favourite pizza joint in town. Their cured meat pizza is to die for with a wonderful, thin crust, as is the pineapple and ham pizza whenever it makes an appearance in their specials. I am a fan of the rocket salad as well even if its portion size never seems to be the same from one order to next--it keeps you on your toes! Highly recommended.”

“What a lovely little gem. I came here on a recommendation and it didnt disappoint the food was fantastic and so was the service. Went for bruschetta to start and melt in the mouth, fall off the bone ribs for mains. Would forgo the starter next time seeing the portion size of the ribs! Ribs glazed with a side pot of jack daniels sauce, a bit sweet and a lovely depth of flavour. The chips had that real potato taste too. Lovely staff and a lovely evening. Would definitely go back.”

“Authentic Chinese food at very reasonable price and large portion. This place locates in an alley almost missed but very glad we visited. The bun is juicy and full of flavour. Both of the noodles have a lot of flavour and decent portion with hand made noodle and meat. Strongly recommend!”
