Cappadocia
● Open“We visited on 11/2/23 Saturday late lunch 14:20 ish. There was a very warm welcome and a choice of seating for us and plenty more. The volume of customers was just right not too many and not empty despite the lateness of the time. I chose the Organic fillet of Salmon. Organic Salmon fillet pan fried in unsalted butter with crushed fresh herbs and white wine (optional), topped with roasted almond flakes served with sautéed spinach and roasted sweet potatoes. I didn’t recognise the sweet potatoes because they were white tasted just as good. It all tasted just as expected and I loved the sauce although I would have liked a little more. The salad had a lot of dressing so I would ask for no dressing next time. As we didn’t order a starter, we were offered some olives to keep us going as all the food is freshly cooked. My husband chose Adana Shoulder of lamb minced, blended with spices and herbs, char-grilled and served on lavash bread with bulgur, salad and sliced red onions. This was tasty but very spicy so he asked for a yogurt dip which made all the difference. (I don’t know it’s proper name). He also ordered chips which arrived (thermally) very hot. My only comment is that the plates could’ve been warm to keep the food warmer for longer. We don’t eat very quickly. The food came in good time. We didn’t have pudding as it was already a late lunch. A lovely complimentary square of sponge, soaked in something delicious like honey, arrived while we were waiting to pay. We had a lovely conversation with the waitress who was from Ukraine, and had been in the country several years. The menu is very extensive and each dish has a picture which is always helpful with such innovative looking food.”

The Dragon Inn
● Closed130 Sheen Road, Richmond TW9 1UR, United Kingdom“It's nice to go to a restaurant where they fill up your water glass when you're close to finishing and place your serviette on your lap. The Dragon Inn is on the prices side compared to other Chinese restaurants but you get what you pay for and the food is absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend and to book for popular evenings (Friday night etc) we ordered so many delicious starters we didn't get to a main course. Will try again next time.”

Very friendly staff and quick service.”

Frantoio
● Closed“Five of us went to Frantoio's for a Sunday birthday lunch. This was our first time here and certainly not out last! We were greeted as we walked in. We were seated on a round table by the window. The decor is pretty and light. The ambiance is pleasant and relaxed. We ordered from the a la carte and lunch menu. On the table we already had water, bread sticks, olives and fresh bread in baskets. The food came out hot and timely. I had the spaghettini with tomatoes - a large portion of delicious pasta cooked to perfection! The rest of our group had a mixture of pasta, fish and meat dishes. The food was superb and so tasty. As this was a double birthday celebration the staff sang happy birthday and served us a profiterole birthday 'cake' with candles. A lovely touch. We weren't hurried, the atmosphere was very relaxed. The bill was mid price. Very good value for money. This restaurant is located on the King's Road nearer to World's End than Sloane Square. Would I recommend this restaurant? Yes! I will return to try out the rest of menu. A touch of Italy in the heart of Chelsea!”

Pita
● Closed“The food was delicious and plentiful. I had the Jerusalem steak meal which was tender and well-spiced with deeply cramelised onions. The namesake pita was hot, crisp on the outside and soft and fluffy in the middle, the salad was delicious. My only complaint is the drives could have been more seasoned. Excellent service despite it being extremely busy.”
-

-
Libano Restaurant Balham
● Open“This is now one of my favourite restaurants in Balham. Don’t be deceived by the seeming simplicity of the menu: the husband and wife team who own and run the restaurant cook with real love and generosity of spirit, and the food is doubly delicious because of it. Go for immaculate Lebanese staples; leave feeling well fed and that all is right with the world.”
-
Patron Restaurant - Kentish Town
● Closed“This is now one of my favourite restaurants in London. We went there last night for my birthday dinner and it was absolutely fab. It was a Sunday so they have a slightly different menu to the one during the week and I was sad that I won't get to try the dauphinoise potatoes but they were still able to make them! Our waiter was very attentive and made us feel very welcome. I can't wait to be back”
-
Pandaberry Caribbean Restaurant and Jerk Centre
● Closed“How lucky I am to have found such a gem! I came in for some soup on this occasion because I am not feeling well and was given a warm welcome. The beautiful woman behind the counter also gave me some ginger tea for some extra tlc from her own pocket. Pure love. I can’t wait to come back to try the rest of the menu! The soup was 10/10!”
-
TOZI Restaurant & Bar, Victoria
● Closed“Had a lovely dinner at Tozi, service was impeccable (probably one of the best we had in London) and food was really good. We ordered 6 plates for 2 people and I think it was the right quantity. The only dish we could skip in the future was the calamari- all others were really good. We also loved their pistachio tiramisu. Overall, strongly recommend Tozi as a nice dining spot near Victoria station. We ended up spending 65£ per person so it’s not cheap but it’s worth it.”
