“Been going here since my daughter has been born. Now she's four & she still loves it. Since Covid/lockdown the cafe has changed owners & it is a massive improvement, better menu, much cleaner inside & outside. They have taken the bins directy outside the cafe which means a lot less bloody wasps. We just had a portion of chips, which argubly was a bit exspensive but they were very nice & the portion was big. The beach was & always is very clean, there is now a new play ship built which my daughter loved. Over the past year they have built a splash park with fountains etc. Again my daughter loved it, it was managed & kept clean very well. There is a small cost £2.70 for 25minites or £5 for an all day wrist band. Overall it was a good day at grays beach & its free, so whats better then that. Will defently be going back.”

She gave us a huge inspirational speech before we started which gave us the enthusiasm to go forth onto our game and get top of the leader board! Apparently some other employee came above us but that doesn't count! MARY then gave us all crisp high fives and we all celebrated with such passion and such joy that God's looked down on us and wept for joy!! MARY is truly a god like human and deserves to double ..no triple her salary! She has the skills and qualities to take life by the horns and steer that bull to sweet sweet freedom. “With plenty of well maintained space to explore, and an extremely old slow moving river attracting wildlife, this is well worth your time. The visitors centre was closed, but they had clear paths and plenty of maps, with statues to find dotted about, each denoting the diverse creatures in the area... How many can you find?”

“I enjoyed my stay here very much. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, it was quiet and plenty of space to put belongings. The room included towels and a hairdryer, as well as the hotel's own shower gel and shampoo, which was handy. The hotel provides you two hotel keys, even though I travelled alone, this was helpful. The card with keys was a voucher for a free complimentary drink at the bar, which was a nice touch. The staff were helpful and friendly, nice and quiet hotel, and offered a breakfast buffet, too pricey for me, so I opted out. The hotel is situated close to shops and bars and restaurants. Would definitely uyse again.”
