Cora Pearl Covent Garden
● Open“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cora Pearl for their Sunday roast and it was absolutely divine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The roast itself was cooked to perfection and the flavors were simply out of this world. The meat was tender and juicy, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The gravy was rich and savory, and everything was served in generous portions. But what really made the Sunday roast stand out at Cora Pearl was the side dishes. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the carrots were sweet and caramelized, and the Brussels sprouts were cooked just right - not too soft, not too crunchy. The ham and cheese was my personal favorite because of its unique taste and dip. Overall, the Sunday roast at Cora Pearl was an absolute treat and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was top-notch. I will definitely recommend their Sunday roast.”

Duchess Theatre
● Closed“The show was super fantastic. The Play Goes Wrong. The bar was very good, too. I bought a salted caramel popcorn. I put it under my seat. When the lights turned on and I wanted to take out my popcorn a real mouse ran out. But okay, because she was cute and hungry. ...and this night the thing went wrong, anyway. The theatre was clean and really everything was top level.”

Unicorn Theatre
● Closed“Good fun space, lots of accessibility options. A little tight to exit the upper space once the show is done though - typical theater experience, but not what I've experienced at angel theater or Southbank center for kids shows”
-
Finborough Theatre
● Open“Wonderful acting, great, cozy atmosphere, sound was amazing and food options are quite large considering it is a theater and not a restaurant.”
-

Phoenix Theatre
● ClosedCharing Cross Road, London WC2H 0JP, United Kingdom“"Come from Away" is a fantastic, heartwarming play. The theatre itself is quite large, but there's attentive staff placed strategically to help. Couple of tips: 1) If you walk upstairs, main ladies toilet is at the back of the back of the dress circle. Don't bother standing in a queue to the toilet near the bar, the one at the dress circle is larger and usually has no queue at all. 2) Grand Circle and Dress Circle are easy to get mistaken - especially that they have seats numbered the same way. If you are unsure just ask the staff - they are all very nice and helpful. 3) The show is quite long and has no break - make sure you buy your drink/go to the loo beforehand.”

Theatre Royal Windsor
● Closed“Been here a couple of times now and been lucky to see Sir Ian McKellen both times (Hamlet & The Cherry Orchard). Wonderful theatre, only small which makes it even more charming.. just felt totally immersed in the performances. Really nice part of the world to go for a bit of dinner first etc.. bar is easy to get to and get served at which is always a bonus.. will be back many times in the future I imagine!”

Court Theatre
● Open“We went to see the Addam's Family tonight with my son who is autistic. This is the first time he has been to see a stage production, and we were unsure if he would be interested enough to sit and watch it. The staff here went out of their way to help us, allowing our son to sit in on the sound test to gauge his response. He seemed fine, so we bought some tickets to watch from a location from which we could leave at short notice. When the music started our son was absolutely beside himself with joy. Fantastic acting and extremely talented singers. Thank you to all the lovely staff, the performers and production team for giving our son such a wonderful first experience in musical theatre.”

Golden Goose Theatre

-
Theatre Royal Haymarket
● Open“I really recommend the only fools and horses musical. Loved it and for some of the jokes you don't have to watch the show. So if you fancy a great theatre show but don't watch only fools and horses still go it is excellent. I have seen some people complain about legroom but where I was sat I had just enough room to move about and I was fine (I'm 6ft 2 so if you are smaller than that you will be perfectly fine, of course it depends on where you sit) Stunning theatre and you really do feel the history of the place. Which really made the show feel the little more special. The show, staff and location were all great.”

The Barn Theatre
● Open“Great place, great atmosphere, great people. Worth keeping an eye out for upcoming performances, Elton John tribute was a real blast.”
-
Harlow Playhouse
● Closed“Most recently saw Ukrainian State Opera here. It's a nice venue, staff are friendly and helpful. Good view from any seat in my experience, but best suited to performances where you sit and listen. Don't expect to get up and boogie - it's not that sort of venue. They have a second, much smaller performance area too, which is nice and intimate. Easy parking nearby in the multi-storey.”
-
Bridge Theatre
● Open“My family and I just enjoyed A Christmas Carol. We were enthralled by it! The three actors, on a bare set and with the help of the lighting, a few props, three puppets and a cloaked spirit, were able to capture the entire audience and carry all of us with Scrooge in his wild flight to salvation!”

Benjamin Pollock's Toyshop
● Closed“I miss this toy shoppe so much. I visited from the States and purchased some paper shadow boxes. I love their selection and hope to go back someday.”
-
The Shaftesbury Theatre
● Open“Inspiring show!! I took my sister for a birthday gift, and we both loved it. The show was funny, uplifting and we both left feeling really happy!!!! It was like 90s pop music was made for this show!!! The show was very diverse which I absolutely loved and appreciated, from race, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, and way of life… a true representation of society and my family and peer group which I really connected with!! Thank you for such a great show, we were up and singing by the end!!! All performers were incredible but Juliet absolutely smashed it!!! Well done guys and thank you for an amazing show!!”

Gielgud Theatre
● Open“We went recently to watch To Kill a Mockingbird Bird. It was an excellent production with outstanding performances by all. I was sat in the Grand Circle Row C, seat 2. I think it is always helpful to know the type of view you will get. It was partially obstructed. So we missed some of the action in the far corner. But the tickets were priced accordingly. We paid £30 each. For the ladies, there is a ladies bathroom very close to these seats, which is handy. But be warned, you need to be quick as there are only two cubicles. So it's either a long wait in the queue or a trek to find alternative facilities. We went on a very hot day, but the theatre itself was lovely and cool, and the bar served ice cold refreshments.”
-

Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre
● Open3 Fulton Road, Wembley Park, Wembley HA9 0SP, United Kingdom“Came here to watch Newsies, absolutely fantastic show and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Venue was excellent and well managed too give the amount of people there, comfy seating too! I had a friend who has bought a programme for every single musical she's ever seen in her life. We tried to buy one after the show but they were all sold out. I came back a week later and popped in 2 hours before the show and was helped by some friendly staff who even opened up the merch stand an hour early just so I could buy a programme for my pal. Really lovely experience and can't wait to be back again!”

Lyric Hammersmith Theatre
● Open“The Lyric Hammersmith is a great venue. The bar staff are friendly and the bar is well stocked. There is plenty seating and on good weather days, the roof terrace is lovely. The bar does serve hot drinks, but only until early evening so I couldn't get a coffee before I went to see the play last night. The auditorium is a Victorian one with stalls, dress circle and upper circle. The seats are quite close together so if you have very long legs, you'll need to pick your aisle seat carefully as they don't all have better legroom because of the pillars. The seats are not the most comfortable I've ever sat in at the theatre so if that's an issue for you, take a small cushion with you! Sight lines from the stalls and circle are great (I've never sat right at the top), and the seats are staggered so you shouldn't have a head directly in front of you. The range of productions on offer do vary a lot in quality and style. I e seen some brilliant things there and some that just didn't hit the spot. But to have a good repertory theatre in a residential neighbourhood is amazing in this day and age, and something to be nurtured and cherished.”
