With its iconic entrance on Mattock Lane, the theatre has become a landmark for theatre enthusiasts and passersby alike.
The Questors Theatre is renowned for its diverse range of productions, from the classic plays of Shakespeare and Ibsen to new, contemporary works by emerging playwrights. The theatre's season typically spans three terms, each with a broad and exciting program of performances. Reviews
"Put on a play there False Accounts by the Outcasts Creative.. I was the producer.. Lovely theatre, welcoming supportive staff.. Shout out to Nicky who helped with everything Ben the tech guy and the lovely ladies in the Box office.. Oh yes Stephen the cheeky usher! We had a fantastic run and hope to play there again!"
"Great theatre, nice bars, you can even see the actors in the bars after the show too. Toilets are a bit of a trek from the bar but could be because I didn't know my way around and missed a nearer loo. Keep an eye for the shows and become a member which also gives you discounts"
"One of the good rated community theaters which offers classes and courses. It has cafe and bar as well. The place is located in quite a good area and is the nearest station is Christchurch which is few walking distance away."
"Lovely hidden gem, must visit. Choos a performance and book a visit. Staff is really helpful and a lovely bar on side to cool down between performance. The Questors Theatre in Ealing was built in 1964 and is currently in need for roof replacement. The organisers have created Crowdfunder and aim to rise 100,000 to replace the roof. The theatre bears the name of amazing Dame Judy Dench, who is the president and has appeared on its stage many times."
"Local theatre always has a nice atmosphere good priced drinks in the grapevine and lovely volunteers. Plays are sometimes a bit random but so cheap and well produced and acted. Never seen a bad thing here. They are still socially distancing the seats and the toilets (which means you are queuing needlessly) hopefully they will stop that soon."
