“This place was great! Authentic German restaurant with nice outlook over the river. Wait staff dressed accordingly and everyone was very welcoming. It’s very meat based (as would be expected) but they have some veggie/vegan options which my friends enjoyed. I had sausages, mash and sauerkraut which was yum! And of course all the beer and wine is German too. Recommend booking ahead as it gets busy - but we were luckily able to get a walk-in on a Saturday night. We were in the smoking area outside but no one was actually smoking. Tables are big and good for groups. Will be back!”

“Thai on Thames is such a hidden gem. The food is delicious and the staff are so lovely. Our favourites are the Pad Thai, massaman curry, fried cod in curry sauce and the calamari! Definitely try this place if you are in the area”

“Just spent a lovely evening at the Black Horse for the first time. Took my family for a Sunday Roast and it was exceptional. Really great food and atmosphere, plus service with a big smile from the lad behind the bar Jamie. All in all a great way to end the weekend.”

“I’ve been lucky enough to go to Eleana’s a few times now - and every time has been outstanding. Delicious dinners, beautiful brunches, cracking cocktails. Slow-cooked lamb; dripping with flavour. Perfectly poached eggs; oozing with yolk. Fabulous French Toast; exploding with flavour and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. The decor is subtle and classy. The owners kind and attentive. The food tasty and from the heart. Give it a go if you’re in the area; you won’t be disappointed.”

“Well every now and then your find a gem and wildwood hits the bill !!! Service was very quick and attentive . I had the calamari for starters and the classic burger for mains the calamari was lightly seasoned as it should be fresh and vibrant the burger was cooked to perfection with fabulous quality beef seasoned again perfectly . Home made fries are perfectly cooked . My wife and daughter had pasta dishes and they said the flavours were so intense and aromatic ..
