"I am pregnant and sensitive to cold food and listeria bacteria, so I asked the cashier lady ( black girl , curly hair, skinny body 18:10pm 19/10/2022 ) today if she can heat up the cooked salmon sushi hand roll for me. She rejected, even I saw there is a microwave behind her . After that , I heard she laughed with her college, maybe she think is very funny. I felt like being discriminated because of my pregnancy . Because of her rejection , I need to choose the red bean pancake. But I really want to eat the cooked salmon hand roll. This shop is not a pregnancy friendly environment. You will not get what you want because of your pregnancy. I like sushi and seafood a lot , but I am afraid I need to change to other restaurants. I feel humiliated . And hope the girl could learn to respect other pregnant women. If you are pregnant and enter this shop , good luck with your purchase."

"Wasabi is everywhere for eat in or take away. I have never tried before, so it was my first time experiencing the service and food both. The place is quite inviting from outside, brightly lit inside and the white walls, glass and chrome colour scheme make it feel a bit clinical – but the colour scheme is clean and modern, and I especially like the neon green plastic chairs. The place was scrupulously clean and well run; it was nearly closing time when I was in, so half of the seating area was closed, so most of the people were coming in for takeaways. I like the clean, bright, and modern ambience of the restaurant and in addition to that, a member of staff was on duty just to tidy and clearing the tables and food fridges. I was impressed to see how much time and attention has been invested to create the food packaging as they play such an important role in presenting the food. The ingredients were clearly labelled on each of my food boxes. Even the etiquettes on 'how to eat sushi or curry' was even mentioned on each box. Quite graphical and simple branding were used to design the boxes. Food peeking outside from those boxes look fresh. The boxes were clean and sturdy. Curry did not leak from the box at all as I brought some food home to check the quality of their boxes. My Katsu curry was hot when I took it out from the hot fridge which also look fresh. The curry was thick, sufficient amount of chicken in it. They could add more veggies as I hardly found any, but still each of the ingredients used tasted fresh. My sushi box was at room temperature as I won't call it cold, and the most impressive thing for me were the small two little containers in my sushi box for the soya sauce and wasabi. I just found it really cute and considerate. I have never found this anywhere I had my sushi before. The sushi rice was a bit dry and hard. I would say there were slightly bland. Each sushi was generously coated with sea weed. They could increase the chicken inside and less rice. For me, I felt that eat in price is quite expensive as compare to the portions I got. Perhaps they can also offer student discount too. I would suggest them to get an ice cream machine (fresh mochi/coconut flavour) which would definitely make them more popular. They should also break the culture of keeping their heads down and serve the customers without making eye contacts. All staff could be train to be welcoming and approachable."

"The nigiris are still good and the rice used are way better than the other sushi place down the road. I still miss the good old days of wasabi where they had way more selection of nigiris nowadays 90% is salmon."
