“Lovely place with some great quality meat to buy for home including some great speciality products. They also have a restaurant at the back with great Brazilian food and steaks cooked over charcoal. Make sure you try the chicken hearts, perfectly cooked and a delicious marinade. Definitely a great find!”

“We stumbled across this Italian gem whilst looking for a bite to eat ahead of the Varsity Hockey match at the Olympic Hockey arena. We were warmly greeted by owner Matteo, and we immediately felt comfortable. We had cheese burgers and chips, which were delicious as you would expect from a master butcher. I had a pint of the on tap IPA, which was super refreshing. Great shop, with onsite butcher, deli, wine, and beer for sale. Wish we lived closer. The locals are spoilt with this exceptional establishment right on their doorsteps.”

“Excellent quality of steaks we were three of us and I ordered the Rib Eye which was like butter. All accompaniment dishes like the stem broccoli with French beans and Mac and cheese with a Caesar salad went down very well.Also the house red wine was superb choice. Would definitely come again as the manager was very approachable and a pleasantly joking gentleman.”

“Went here for a celebration with my family. The staff where very welcoming and professional. The use of Screen separated some of tables which I prefer. Sometime's it good just to be in your own bubble and safer. The food was so delicious and well presented. The server was very knowledge on how your steak should be. I tried a bit of everyone dish (all tasty and well seasoned). The Cocktail deal was 2 for 1 before a certain time. Very Good and tasty also ample alcohol. Really nice place to go and have a lovely meal try it out you won't be disappointed.”

“One of the best steaks I have ever had. Take the round cut, or what they call the Pope's Eye, it is perfection. So tender and full of flavor it is a work of culinary art. The French fries are also the absolute best, true British fries you just cannot have anyplace else in the world. Service is friendly and efficient.”

“I ordered last week at 10.45 in the morning - and by 2.30pm the order had arrived - incredible service! As for the meat.....fantastic - we had the beef ribs as our first meal - followed the cooking directions provided - and 4 very satisfied customers! Looking forward to trying the steak next! “We had the rib eye for 2 (rare) and demolished every bite. Juicy and succulent, definitely a winner. The wine selections are spectacular too. Only disappointing element was the breadcrumbed bone marrow; I was expecting bone marrow on toast as breadcrumbs take away from its nuanced flavours. Otherwise a pretty great experience, would definitely go back.”

“Happy New Year!! Medium rare chocolate-fed fillet grilled to perfection— extremely tender and juicy, even though it’s not a fatty marbled piece. No sauce is needed. This is well above many of the non-wagyu steaks I’ve had. 10 oz is a breeze. My friend’s bbq rib also tastes good. Slightly on the salty side for me. Wish there are more lighter options for sides. Asparagus perhaps?”

“Absolutely amazing. Couldn't fault it at all. Service was great. Food was to die for. The lobster was fantastic, steak cooked to perfection and I havent had chips so good in a long time. So good we had to squeeze in a pudding and coffee. Bang goes the diet but, it was so worth it. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. You have to visit Brettington's. You'll be blown away.”

“Excellent food and service! My steak was superb, perfectly cooked, full of flavour and good size. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend. There is something for everyone on the menu and the whole family really liked the food. Plus the service was top level. From the start a lovely lady greeted us at the door and showed us to the table, gave my daughter crayons and colouring pages to keep her busy. Our waiter Cristian is just amazing at his job and took great care of us. All the staff was super friendly. Thanks for the lovely meal. Would definitely go there again!”

“Third time coming here and this time has been the best visit yet! Great service by an attentive and hard-working young Asian man who made sure our food came out on time and our needs were met. We ordered the sirloin steak with mushroom sauce, which never disappoints. The chips were amazing as per usual. The side of mac and cheese was nice and hearty enough to keep us full. We also ordered our favourite- the Mess burger- which just hit the spot as usual and melted in your mouth! Great experience, lovely atmosphere and all in all happy :)”

The staff were attentive, the venue nice but the food, wow, it was great. Everything was way above what we expected, which made it such a great experience. “I had a lovely stay here. I somehow managed to pick a quiet room, bit of an odd shape and the lighting is quite harsh, I asked housekeeping if they had a lamp and they brought one straight up. The overhead lighting was too much. It could benefit from lamps in the room to create a better ambience. The bedding was wonderful, a really great quality mattress topper. I slept like a baby. The room has everything you need. The breakfasts were outstanding. I had a 4 day stay so tried something different every day. The staff are really kind and genuine. This would be my go to hotel. It even has a lovely little gym. Also a nice touch was an ice machine on my floor which I used. Water in the room. Fridge, ironing board and iron. Hairdryer. Tea and coffee. Lovely products in the bathroom. Great temperature controls or fresh air from the windows. I stayed at the back of the hotel incase of traffic noise. You are essentially on top of the tube but I actually found that lulled me to sleep! Highly recommend.”

“The service here is fantastic! Customer service is spot on so well done guys. The food is impeccable, I had the rib eye, medium rare and it was cooked to perfection. My partner had the lobster fettuccine which again, was cooked exceptionally well. We didn't have too much time to spend here because of other commitments but we will be coming back. “I went to this restaurant for dinner on Friday night with my sister. We ended up at the wrong one but the waiter went out of his way to call the restaurant to let them know we made a mistake so we wasn’t charged the cancellation/no show fee. He was very polite and recommended us on the steak roll starter which were perfect and also recommended us the rum punch. Stephan’s hospitality skills is top notch and he took time out to speak to us.. he really made our experience enjoyable and we will definitely be returning because of him. He is definitely an asset to the restaurant. Thank you Stephan, keep doing what you are doing x”

“4.5 is the marks. I don’t think they serve the best steak of the kind but acceptable one with this price range. Popcorn is free serving. Very good service with staff going around to see what customers needed. I like the desert, very lovely and not common, which add 0.5 marks for that.”

“I have no idea where to start. First off, brand new establishment, under the new premier inn. Crew are still learning where the feet go, but the atmosphere and the sheer friendliness speaks volumes. The food is first class. The steak (pictured) was the steak platter (three 4oz) was of fantastic quality and the flavour….just wow. Great breakfast. All ingredients were amazing. If you come to London, go here. Cheap hotel stay and easy access to London tubes. With great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food.”
