“It’s always nice to discover cafes where the staff look excited and passionate about what they are doing. It certainly reflected in the coffee which was outstanding. We tried a slice of the orange and almond cake too which we will be coming back for. Anyone who enjoys great coffee definitely won’t be disappointed.”

The coffee shots are always consistent and amazing quality - we are those people who will walk 30 mins to get an amazing cup of coffee and we couldn’t be happier to have found Monies on Upper Richmond Road. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is so warm and the decor well designed. Having nailed the coffee they now do cheese and charcuterie boards on a fri and sat evening. You must go!! Each cheese is carefully hand selected from Borough Market, the meats are insane, they use amazing quality products from artisan producers and you can really taste the difference. A great selection of drinks too - ranging from wine to espresso martinis.”

“This I think is how chinese food should be made. Simple looking but impeccable flavours. I’d come back very often. Very reasonable prices and accommodating service from the team. “I popped in for a quick lunch before a meeting and I'm so glad I did. I was hoping it would be the same great quality food as it always was at Carluccio's and it exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive and efficient and the food did not disappoint. I opted for a salad but absolutely love the spinach balls that are in the gardiena dish and the waiter was happy to oblige. The spinach balls were lovely and the salad perfectly balanced, the avocado was perfectly ripe and as you can see, it wasn't simply a pile of leaves! The photo doesn't do it justice because I'd already started to demolish it! No wonder this place is buzzing, I will certainly be back!”

“My favourite branch of Costa. Great staff team who are always friendly, sometimes funny and happy to chat which gives a slightly more personal or independent coffee shop feel. Even when there's a long queue, the wait isn't as long as many other branches. Coffee is made well and more than happy to accommodate customer preferences (hotter, colder, half and half milk and a myriad of requests I've heard from other customers whilst waiting to be served). Indoor and outdoor seating, street parking and a car park behind the shops. Great if you've been for a walk in the park as its just outside the gate.”
