Short stay in Welling

“A very cheerful welcome by lovely, helpful, kind people. Helena and Jessica are doing a fab job and we loved the little room we stayed in. The breakfast was a delight, all that fresh food and the toast and choice of tea or coffee and all that was needed. We may well stay there again, if we manage to save up pennies for a further trip to London- the most exciting city with the loveliest people. Peckham is interesting.... very multiculti and absolutely fine!”

“Had a lovely stay last night, comfortable beds and great shower. Host was lovely on arrival giving directions to the local shops. Will definitely stay again when I am next in the area.”

“The location is great, right near Hyde Park and some metro stations. A simple space, yet a comfortable one. (The stairs make for a great work out!) Guests were respectful. Staff was nice and helpful ✨ Would stay again.”

“Me and my 2 daughters had an apartment on the 8th floor with wonderful views of the area, spent there 2 weeks of the autumn break and felt absolutely fantastic! Very good service, Martin was so much helpful, many thanks! Our home away from home. There was everything we needed, full equipped kitchen, washing machine, comfortable bed.The place was extra clean, quiet and comfortably located in a nice, new building neighboring the area of the shopping mall, which was an advantage, as you could easily get not only to the shops but also cafes and restaurants. No noise at all. I will definitely stay there again, hopefully when everything gets to normal.”

“As a single woman moving abroad during pandemic period, I would not be able to make a better decision. The Quarters became a family to me with its lovely people (special thanks to Victoria and Rebecca), rooms, facilities (cleaning, gym, onsite restaurant) and security systems (24/7 security). The location of the building is so convenient that, I had an easy access to grocery shops, pharmacies, hair dressers, cafes, public transport, and cinemas in minutes. The onsite restaurant has always priority to the residents and their foods are very fresh. I would like to say thank you to the team for making accommodation so easy, affordable, comfortable and safe.”

“Very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, with everything necessary for a long stay. Room condition is great, new furniture, clean. Only frustration at checkin was the insistence that I show the credit card used to book the room. But it was a corporate centrally booked room, so I didn't have the card. My admin had to talk to them on the phone for 20 minutes to sort it out. A bizarre, mystifying waste of time for a corporate apartment company to foist on guests.”

“Excellent stay. It would not be too much to call this place flawless. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is extremely well maintained and sparkling clean. Interior of the whole property is very appealing. Good community overall so I felt very comfortable despite of being an introvert. Perfect location, everything is nearby and in walking distance. Studios are very nice, airy, bright and spacious. Other things I liked are as follows: 1. Free room cleaning for once in every two weeks. 2. Free bakery items and drinks (juices, beer, soft drinks etc) everyday. 3. Personal balcony for all the studios on the top floor. 4. Short term contracts are provided and are very flexible with extending contracts. Few suggestions: 1. May be install stronger heating (resp. air conditioning) as top floor studios get extremely cold (resp. hot). 2. TVs in the studios would be nice. I would definitely stay here again if I get to move to Guilford in future. Highly recommended!”

“We stayed here for 9 nights in July and it exceeded all of our expectations! We had low expectations because we were looking for a budget friendly place. There are aspects that definitely felt low budget, but that's expected with a budget inn. I can't say enough good things about our stay here. The staff was so lovely and patient with my young kids. The inn was quiet and clean. It's right by Tesco and Sainsbury, and also near several bus stops, so it was easy to get to anywhere we wanted to go. We had breakfast there one day and it was hot and delicious! I would definitely stay here again.”

“I booked a room for my mom and sister to stay for 15 days and they had an overall very good experience for the price and what is available in the area! The facilities (fridge, microwave, cupboard and sink for dishes) make it a lot more worth it than the nearest hotel. I would definitely recommend it! Jermaine, the manager, is also very approachable and very fast to answer any queries.”

“I’ve only ever come here for drinks or food as I’m local and it’s always amazing Turkish/English food and great service in this place! Would highly recommend the lamb chops. The owners have always looked after me and my family members especially Joe and it’s very much appreciated.”

“Really good location, and my room is the largest I have stayed in at a London hotel. The staff were friendly and efficient, even offered to make me dinner after the kitchen was closed. My only gripe is that the restaurant dinner menu is very limited, but with Borough Market on the doorstep this really didn't bother me”

“Stayed there for a work trip. Great rooms - clean, spacious, and newly refurbished. The location is very good, within minutes from several tube stations and bus stops. The staff were lovely and very helpful :)”

“Lovely host who is super flexible to catering to the guest's needs. Cosy room we had. It's about 30 minutes train ride from Abbey Wood station to central London but station is only about 5 mins walk from the house. The nice thing living this far out was that we got to experience it somewhat like the locals. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Note that the house is shared accomodation so you habe to be comfortable with that type of setup. All the guests respected each other's privacy so that was all good. What's even better wad that it was one of the cheapest accommodations around. Highly recommended for those who are not local but want to experience neighborhood living rather than fancy hotels.”

“Great little stop over spot, clean compact room. Does a great job while stopping over in London for the night. A kettle would be nice but there is complementary tea and coffee in the reception area”

“Once you know where it is, it's a lovely car park, easy to use and pay at the end and plenty of spaces. To find, drive up to the upper level roundabout and ask the guys at the barriers to direct you.”

“Very well kept camp site with all amenities clean and well maintained. This is a great place to stay with the pitches set out under trees and well spaced. Some good walks to pubs.”

“The Gyle is a fantastic find in a really brilliant spot near to Kings Cross and St Pancreas but on a square that in 8 nights there was super quiet. Not an area Id normally stay in but within walking distance of the coal drop yards etc was perfect for a work thing. My room was big for London- Room 22 - and had a balconey. Very comfortable bed and clean. Room had everything I needed- its not a full service hotel but had tea coffee in the room hair dryer etc. Staff are very helpful and welcoming as well. Breakfast in mornings is served in their bar area and I also had a brilliant toastie one afternoon (like a club sandwich toastie- huge!!), and they have great wine. I enjoyed my stay there! “We had a fantastic stay. We used it as a base to visit the Harry Potter studio tour which was only a ten minute drive away. The hotel was beautiful and clean and staff very helpful. The room was kitted out with a little fridge so my youngest could have her yoghurt in the morning. Breakfast staff very accommodating to my 2 excited children and because it was my sons birthday we even got an extra treat in our room and a birthday card for him which made his day. Short walk to town centre and Watford train station so will come again for London trip next year!”

“The hotel was great, it looked stunning, the staff were super friendly. The place had amazing lights, the shower had button that let you see through to the hotel room which was funny. We loved the pool and Sauna. They have parking which you have to pay for and the breakfast selection was incredibly tasty and a great selection. Anna was really kind to my daughters. Thank you for letting us stay, it was really fun & we had an amazing time there.”

“Good food (better than just standard pub grub). Good beer, coffee etc. Friendly crowd and bar staff. A short hike from Key Gardens and nice way to end the day. Parking possibilities along Kew Green or side streets.”

“Really good location, very clean, friendly staff and great cafe area. Good affordable alternative compared with hotels in London which are eye wateringly expensive for most people. The nearest tube is about 10 minutes walk or perhaps a little less. Only downside is a 10am checkout which seems a little early but nothing major - elevator is also very small so factor that in when you're leaving in the morning when it's busy.”
