“Excellent service all round - I come from the other end of London to have my hair cut at D& G Acton and they never disappoint. All the staff are really friendly, with Maazen being exceptionally personable. They are very sociable, always making you feel welcome and at home. Coincidently, I worked and became friends with someone who has his hair cut there also and he feels the same way about their service I do. They've even introduced me to other people, one of which gave me a job - how many barber shops connect you to the community like that? Maazen, Hasan, and more recently Ayman have consistently managed to cut my difficult hair effortlessly, paying acute attention to both my preference and how best to make me look. In particular, Ayman does a masterful job at cutting my hair cleanly and stylishly, leaving no part out of place. The prices are very reasonable, but even if they charged a few pounds more like many other barber shops, it would be worth it for their professional service, the feeling they give you every time you see them, and the banter you get with Maazen.”

“My daugthers car was rear ended and it was all going through the insurance. The insurance then phoned and said they were writing it off. I went to get advice from D&G. Dave said he was sure they could fix it. Oh my he and his team did the most fantastic repair and the cost was £1070. The insurance was quoting around £3700 and told me they would write it off. Dave said buy it back which I did for £580 and D&G fixed it to the highest stantard. If ever get yourself in this sort of situation and you want to keep your car it just goes to show it can be done. Thank you D&G for saving my daughters car.”

“A historical London theatre with great decorations in central London. I came to see the Nutcracker with my mum this year! We sit on the upper circle. The view was good and no restrictions. But the legroom is quite squashed cause it won’t have enough space. The Nutcracker show was fabulous! Will definitely watch again another Christmas time!”

Everything you need is here from the restaurant, bar and rooms for overnight stays.”

“Amazing hotel, great location - across road from Aldgate East tube station. Lots of things go do and see in this area - Sunday market was on nearby. Hotel was spotlessly clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Sam and The breakfast was beautiful - you just go up and help yourself to cereal and the hot buffet. There is a good selection available - bacon, sausage, scrambled egg, hash browns, beans, mushrooms etc. Lots of different types of bread / cake available and coffee / hot chocolate etc from a machine. The bedrooms were bigger than a lot of the hotels I’ve been to before and really modern and clean. The shower was really good and there were no unwelcome noises when we wanted to sleep. We would not hesitate to return to this hotel. Paul & Jo.”

“Nice reasonably priced hotel with very large rooms (we choose the premium rooms). Very quiet, not much noise from street or other rooms. Neighbourhood is okay as long as your diet does not rely on beer and pork. Bus stop right in front of the door, tube and DLR are roughly ten minutes away. Very friendly staff, especially at the restaurant. Good breakfast. Bathroom and closet in the guest rooms rather small.”

Breakfast was delicious and the staff were pleasant and professional. I would stay here again if I was to visit London as this is out the way of the main city but close enough to a station to travel in quickly.”

“What a great hotel! There was a small issue at check in with our room not being ready, but staff were fantastic and upgraded us for free for the inconvenience. If you get chance to use the executive lounge between 6&8pm then do. Buffet food and drinks available the entire time, and a nice atmosphere. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Hotel is ideally placed just a short walk from Angel tube station.”

“We stayed here for the ABBA Arena, as it was an easy taxi ride there and a much better area to stay in. The DLR station into the centre of London is a 4 minute walk from the hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was very good and the staff were all friendly. We found the price to be very reasonable and we even got a room upgrade on arrival!”

“Great location for business use. Rooms are modern and clean, and staff (Julie) always helpful and cheery on arrival. Unfortunately no restaurant, but Costa and local Pub within 2 mins walk provide good alternative.”

“Lovely hotel with amazing customer service. This is not a Brand New hotel, but don't let that put you off. The rooms have air con!! which is amazing, the level of cleanliness is spot on, the rooms are well equipped, everything works as it should, the staff are really approachable and customer service is top notch. The location is perfect for anyone wanting to go to the Arena or in to central London, the hotel is directly opposite the Wembley Park Underground Station.”

“My girlfriend and I came here to have afternoon tea for her birthday. Wow what an amazing experience! The hotel it’s self is beautiful and the staff are incredible. Very kind, accommodating and more than happy to help. My girlfriend and I was speaking amongst ourselves about the fact it was her birthday and before we knew it one of the staff members brought out a lovely slice of cheese cake topped with fresh strawberries and strawberry drizzle, the best part it was complimentary from the hotel. A lovely staff member offered to take some pictures for us as we were leaving. Simply a great time and good old fashioned good customer service. Thank you guys it was lovely.”
