Still, and without a word of complaint, it took them only 35 minutes to have a large taxi available for us at the airport. The driver was nice, and the drive was relaxed and safe. We would definitely recommend. My mistake: As we landed at 23:55, I requested the taxi for 01:00 the next day. Later, when I entered the flight number, it changed the date for the same flight, on the next day (the day I entered).”

“I pre-booked a WAV (wheelchair accessible vehicle) for my Mum on Christmas Day which I was a little apprehensive about having used another company a few weeks ago who cancelled at the last minute which was extremely inconvenient. The vehicle arrived on time for the pick up in the afternoon and return journey later in the evening and the drivers were very helpful ensuring the journey for my Mum was comfortable and also for my Dad who accompanied her. “I hired the Maybach off this company in august 2014 for my wedding. I spoke with a very helpful gentleman who very quickly and clearly set out his terms and costs. As promised, the contact was made by the driver the day before pick up. There was a small glitch on the day that led to the driver being slightly delayed. However, both the driver and the company were very apologetic and also provided me with a complimentary service. It is accepted in the real world that mistakes can be made but I was immensely pleased with the service and will be using them again without hesitation. In todays world it is very difficult to find trustworthy businesses. This company for me provided that peace of mind and I will always highly recommend them. We needed to pay an additional £6 charge to the driver for a 30min delay, which is fair enough, but I would have thought that the flight details we shared in the app (flight number, scheduled arrival time) would have been used to schedule the driver's arrival and be adjusted according to live flight information. Fortunately, we had some cash to pay the driver, though, if paying in advance by card via the app, it would be more helpful to add the charge to the original payment method. These were just minor issues and we were otherwise happy with the service and price.”

“Our family has been using A1 Cars for MANY years - as long as I can remember - airport pickups, home to airport pickups - and they are outstanding. I just flew (family emergency) from USA to London - driver was there on time but Lufthansa had lost my luggage so I had a two hours wait to figure out what was going on - Driver Mohsin kept in touch via text (whatsapp using airport wifi) - was very patient - had not yet gone and parked (which I was thankful for) because airport parking is crazy expensive - he was just awesome. I was stressed enough and his patience and helpfulness was wonderful. He was a fantastic driver - could not have been more helpful. My return from the hotel to the airport was just as good except I forgot to get the driver's name - he was a gracious gentleman too, excellent driver - and I am most grateful to A1 Cars. I DID overhear two women (while waiting for the plane) complaining that normally a taxi to the airport would cost them 80 pounds - but because it was new years eve, they were charged DOUBLE - it made me even happier because of A1's excellent rate (50 pounds plus the airport drop off fee) - I made all the arrangements with them via email, they responded VERY fast and were flexible when I had to make some changes.
