“My children has always loved pizza express. I have to admit it wasn't my favourite pizza restaurant but since I tried the new menu I am so much happier to take my children there. Only been once at Surbiton branch, normally we go to the Esher one. The service at Surbiton was fantastic and the very friendly waitress gave a little tip which made my pizza exquisite!”

“The best meal i have had in a while was an intimate lunch i had today served by the most amazing server - Lucas. The food was amazing, but the service was mind blowing. We ended up drinking 2 bottles of wine over 4 courses. Dessert was beautiful, and i am definitely coming back. Also, dont forget to get a 30% student discount through Unidays.”

“I ignored some of the reviews on here and went anyway, glad I did as I had a nice experience. Ordered the breakfast tagine, one pot egg/pepper, and french toast. Food was all great and served in good time. Prices were also decent and not over the top. There’s a nice calm atmosphere in the place. Some of the tables/chairs could do with changing as they were a bit ugly. Teas and coffees aren’t served hot, they’re sort of warm and they go cold fast. Other than that all was good and I would happily visit again. Their pastries look fantastic so I may try them next time.”

“Food, service, environment... All here is fabulous!!! And the price is not bad. I had a Black Bean Taco Soup and a Falafel salad, both are Gluten Free (GF) and Vegan (V) so perfect. Just say the soup was saying that has soya as allergen and just this! There are not many things in this airport GF and Vegan. This country need improve this in general isn't it??? If you agree with me, give me a thumbs up!!! Cheers!!!”

“Very tasty 5 star rating. Out shopping and we thought why not so we we went in and were greeted by a very polite staff member who helped us with ordering for my Son who has allergies. Once that was out the way we ordered our box meals and took our seats. Very clean establishment and at that time it was quiet so plenty of comfortable seating to choose from. The food was brought over by another pleasant staff member and the eating began. Before you knew it the food was all gone and bellies were full. 5 star rating for German Doner Kebab.”

“I had a really good time here with my family, being far from home this place manage to bring the atmosphere from Romania with live music and our traditional dishes. A good place for a Saturday evening, celebrate an important event or just to have a drink at the terrace.”

“We had Goats curry and it was delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday evening, hence the not so quick service, but still good and very friendly. The restaurant itself is one big room and not the brightest lighting. Still works. We will definitely come back for another meal.”

“This was my first time to try canaan as my regular Chinese closed. I was a bit sceptical at first as the prices are cheaper compared to my past few take aways i tried. For a safe bet l went for set meal c. Everything was still hot when I received it and the portions are generous for the price, and everything tasted fresh. As l didn't know what to order as this wasn't my usual take away, the lady at the counter was very helpful talking me through the dishes and given me suggestions, without being too busy. I didn't have to wait long which I was prepared to do given it was a Friday evening and everything was cooked to my specifications.(I am quite picky. The meal was tasty and still cheaper then most other s. I recommend Canaan's for your local Chinese if you live in the local area.”

“We were greeted at the door by a less-than-pleasant host which set a bad precedent. However, our server Alison, was excellent! She was very caring and kind, stopping in to ask how our food is. The food was great for a fair price. Will be back again for sure!”

“My wife and I have a long love affair with Thai food, after spending a few months in Thailand. The problem is, it never taste just like there. That is until we stumbled upon this beautiful place. A family business, Honest Thai food, base on the mother’s recipes. Nice people, very welcoming. Attention to detail, and ingredients are as close to Thai as you could possibly find in this part of the world. I would recommend eating at the restaurant, because it’s just so pleasant. Highly recommended.”

“A must visit cafe when you are in Kew. This place is so inviting and welcoming thanks to the great staff who are constantly and consistently providing you with great service at all times. The cafe is very historic too, try their greenhouse room in winter or enjoy the beautiful sunshine on the seats provided outside. Their full English breakfast is a must try, so is their ice tea in the summer”

“Would definitely recommend coming to the three steps it has a welcoming and fun atmosphere, a great variety of drinks and would 100% recommend their cocktails especially the frozen ones! I came here for a karaoke night on a Sunday and had an amazing night, the owners and bar staff are lovely and very friendly too! If you’re looking for a good night go to the three steps !”

“Great place with a beautiful beer garden. Too bad it was cold because it looks amazing for the warmer seasons. Waiter Žan was the best. He explained a brief history of the place to me and the tradition behind it. Served me a couple of beers and we had blast! Highly recommend!”
