“One of the Nice Pub I have encountered in a while, Staff is Polite and their service is also fast on Regular Day but if you will come here at Sunday there's always a rush and 1 hour waiting time on food which is mind blowing but I can understand when it's a rush it's a rush otherwise their service is fast”

“Visited a friend who had moved to Bromley recently. We fancied some good food but reasonably priced, so we looked for a wetherspoon pub. We found the Richmal Crompton. What a discovery! I ordered spicy grilled chicken with salad. I was served within 10 minutes and the chicken was perfectly cooked: the breast was juicy and the leg was tender. The salad, dressing and sauces complemented the chicken. The refillable mug of coffee was the icing on the cake. All that for £8. My friend and I agreed to revisit the pub very soon for more tasty experiences.”

“We had a fantastic family birthday celebration at the newly refurbished William Camden. After what could have turned into a disastrous evening due to unforseen staff shortage in the kitchen, Wai the manager turned things around and even cooked for us! We enjoyed a lovely dinner and a few drinks. The kids were entertained with the board games provided too.”

“Really enjoyed my experience here. Everything about the place was excellent, from the service to the design and layout of the place was great. The food I had was a chicken steak with mash potatoes, pepper sauce and vegetables and it was the perfect dish I would highly recommend this dish. The sheesha was also good and had the right texture and very smooth when smoking, great all round and would recommend for people to try.”

“Went there after seeing the play at Shakespeare’s Globe around 5 pm on Saturday. It’s a great place for lunch/dinner or drinks if you want to step away from the crowds (just 5 min walk from the south bank). Lovely interior design and very reasonably priced food and drinks.”

“The Watford and Surrounding area bereavement support group use this location for a meetup at 11.00 on the last Sunday of the month. We have found this to be the perfect place to have a coffee and a chat with others going through the same life-changing challenges we all face when losing a loved one. The staff here are very friendly and always make us feel welcome.”

“I would recommend The Winning Post- good food, free large car park and spacious venue. We were a table of 4 and went to eat. I have to say that they’re sharing nachos are some of the nicest I have tasted- the freshly made tortilla chips are really nice. It would be nicer to have some more guacamole but I often think this with nachos- this is my preferred dip. The menu has a number of vegan options which is not always common and the allergen menu online is really useful. The service was good- any minor issue resolved without delay. Staff were welcoming. Overall I would recommend and plan to return.”
