“Went for mother's day steak with in-laws. We were last guests to arrive that night. Excellent rib eye with good sides. And very good desserts. I must also commend the service which was very good and accomodating despite us arriving 45 mins before close of kitchen. I might just come again. Thanks!”

“Absolutely fantastic food and even better hospitality. As soon as we entered we felt welcome. We had a jug of passion fruit juice which was nice, if a bit sweet. For starters we had the nundu and the mogo. The mogo had a nice flavour and was a good consistency. The nundu was absolutely fantastic and I really recommend it. Traditionally it's just beef fat, however, as the server explained, you can't serve grilled fat on its own in the UK, so it had beef with it. It was so full of flavour and seasoned perfectly. For mains we had sukama wiki with ugali and charsi lamb curry with naan. The sukama had a lovely flavour and went well with the ugali. I tried the curry with the ugali and it didn't go as well. The curry was spicy but really rich. We had some karak chai to finish the meal and packed up everything we didn't eat. Our server was great - very friendly and knowledgeable - and I got the feel from the restaurant that they love serving people and making people happy with their food.”

We were greeted warmly upon our arrival, all COVID protocols were followed with due diligence, the staffs were attentive & friendly and the food was heavenly. The very first bite took me straight to the streets of Bangkok, the food is authentically Thai - a perfect balance of flavours, spiciness and tanginess to tease, tickle and satiate your taste buds!! “Excellent quality burgers in Northwood Hills. Although the seating area is limited, turnover is quick so you'll get a seat in about 20mins or so. The service here is good with very friendly & smiling staff. The Burgers - well, you definitely have to try it yourself and you won't be disappointed. The meat burgers are full of flavour and well cooked with good condiments, and each burger meal comes with a healthy portion of fries. The chicken burgers are also well good (and moist on the inside) which make them perfect for the chicken lovers. Keep up the great work and we'll definitely be visiting your restaurant much more often now.”

“The Gate is a really good place to visit. We had dinner they on a Saturday night. We had booked in advance, so a table has been reserved for us. The menu is really good, with a really good variety to choose from, including a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu gives really good variety for money, including the drinks menu. We started with the vegetarian chili nachos which were delicious and made a really nice change from the traditional meat version. We will definitely go back again.”
