“Had a fantastic evening there. Staff were excellent and the food was lipsmackingly good. Tried the allo chaat, gol guppa and the samosa chaat for starters and loved the samosa chaat the most. The lamb chops were recommended to me by Sunny but I went for the Shank. Such a mistake!!!.... Not because the shank wasn't good but tried some of the lamb chops from my friend and it is to die for. Daal Bukhara was also fantastic. But the Paan ice-cream was mind blowing. Grew up eating both , Paan and ice cream , but never tasted Paan ice-cream. Fantastic”

“I've been told about this place many times from my friends how good food is there. So I had chance for first time to try it. And I can say that it was worthed. They do emaizing twist with sushi maki. All feel very fresh and tasty. I try for starter miso soup and Agedashi Tofu. For main: Baby Dynamite, crispy, Scallop Volcano. And recommend all. Great experience.”

“Excellent food and reliable delivery. Honest people working here. When I accidentally overpaid for my takeaway the delivery driver came back and said did I really mean to give him such a large tip. The owner in particular is very nice and the food is very reasonably priced”

“Went for Sunday roast and it was very nice. I had the lettuce bacon and avocado salad as a main and there was plenty of it, it was delicious and I’d come back just for this salad. My other half had the chicken roast and he said it was really good. We also had all the side dishes to the roast: also very good! I recommend the Douro if you like a rich red wine, very good value. The staff was really good too, especially as it was very busy as we came in at 4.30pm. They deserve the 5 stars as far as I’m concerned.”

“Lovely clean, comfortable, quiet and well-run Premier Inn! I cannot praise all the staff highly enough - both in the hotel and the Brewer's Fayre next door - for their helpfulness, politeness and professionalism, especially Judith on Reception. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and great value for families with the kids eat free deal :-) You won't be disappointed here - do give it try!”

“I was disappointed that there was no lift, as women travelling alone are always put on the top floor for some reason. My room was also the first one from the stairs. Fortunately I was only disturbed but one group of people shouting along the corridor. My main complaint, though, was the freezing cold water coming from the shower. When I mentioned this to the receptionist as I left, she told me I should have informed reception. When I said I'm not sure how when I was in the shower, she just said "oh". Update to previous review: I stayed here last weekend and it felt completely different to last time. The day before I arrived, one of the receptionists, Megan, rang to check if there was anything in particular that I required for my room. I have been staying in Premier Inns for years and have stayed in loads of them and this has never happened before. She asked if I was coming for a special occasion and I mentioned it was my birthday the previous day and that I was visiting my daughter. When I arrived in my room, I found a box of chocolates, a can of lager and a small bottle of sparkling wine, along with a card and birthday message from the hotel. I thought this was such a lovely thing to do. Megan deserves a special mention because she was extremely friendly and helpful during my stay.”

When the customer service is this consistently good (and has been since they first opened), I'm usually suspicious of the product and what they might be masking but this place genuinely has it all in spades. The loveliest of people and the best coffee, food and recommendations!”

“Delicious pizza full of flavour the crust was nice & crispy. Especially dipped in the garlic mayo or gorgonzola dip staff are amazing & so welcoming . We had the truffle shuffle & verdura picante. Although it's a take away there are tables so have it straight from the wood fired oven. Will def be going there again. Thank you Gazelle & Aryan.”

“One of the best curry houses I’ve been to in a while. Lamb chops to start, very tasty, with lamb korai main, which was well spiced and incredible. The breads were nice and crispy and good selection of dips for the poppadoms. Kingfisher on draft. Very friendly staff as well, would visit again and recommend”
