Over Under Coffee - West Brompton
“Just had my morning coffee ☕️ from this place. Was greeted by beautiful lady with curly hair. Coffee was amazing and croissant was very fresh and crispy. Will be definitely coming again. A little bit expensive as compared to Costa but quality is much better.”
Taste Coffee shop
“The Taste Coffee shop is a small and cosy cafe or restaurant, which has a very appealing menu and a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful. I had a delicious and well served vegetarian lunch just before Christmas. I would definitely recommend a visit.”
Happy Bellys

The Grind Café
“SUMMARY: Lovely friendly cafe / restaurant. Consistently good. We've visited on different days at different times - always hard-working, polite, diligent, and serve great quality food and drinks. Today's pictures are on a Sunday and the place is very busy - but we don't mind. It can be a bit noisy - but it's a cheerful chatty noise. We have been here when it's super-quiet and peaceful, so it's up to you to choose a good time depending on your mood. THE MENUS: Great choices of breakfast, healthy options, Mediterranean, brunch, lunch and snacks. We're never bored with the choices. Today's photos are the grilled chicken salad after the gym. Substantial, fresh and delicious. See photos of the menus. PRICES: very fair and reasonable - generous portions. DECOR & COMFORT: Contemporary look, nice, comfortable and a choice of indoor and outdoor. At the rear there is more outdoor seating in a cute yard but is down some steps. THE SERVICE: Always good. Very attentive and well trained staff. Eye contact and a genuine concern to make your visit good. They will change things, fix things and want to do the right thing for you. TOILETS: Very clean, smell-free, large, adequate with baby-changing fold down table. Step-free level access for buggies and wheelchairs. See photos. BUT... no handrails for the disabled which really would be a bonus. There was a chap in a wheelchair in the café when we visited, and it would be so much better putting a few more facilities for the less able. (Additionally, the Café entrance step could be corrected to allow for step-free access. It's very small, but I know from experience that even these small steps can be stressful for the less-able.) Finally, regarding the toilets: it is a fashion these days to install really high-powered hand driers. The one in this toilet, like many, is DEAFENING. At some stage, the law will change and these will be removed. Illogically loud. (And you can't put your wet fingers in your ears whilst trying to dry your hands! ) THE LOCATION: Busy part of West Wickham near a cross roads and the local council gym-swimming pool. So, parking outside is on the meter - see photos. The street across the road is free is you can find space (except 1-2 pm, Mon-Fri... be careful, you will get a ticket!). Or, pay to use the gym car-park. OVERALL: You can see from the ratings that The Grind is well respected and loved amongst the locals, the elderly, the young, parents with children & babies, groups, alone, the lads from the gym, the girls on a chatty afternoon... well liked by all. Cheerful, lively, successful. Well done to The Grind. We'll be back!”
Grill Shack and Tiki Bar London
“This is one of the best Haitian Food restaurants I have been to anywhere including in Haiti. PERIOD! The beautiful dinning room and bar really set the stage for what is to come. The drinks are excellent and top quality (try the rhum punch or the 15-year Barbancourt). The Haitian cuisine and presentation offered here is beyond amazing and beyond delectable. It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. Don't miss London's only and BEST Haitian Restaurant!”

Tapping The Admiral
“Loved this pub. Great beer. Loved all the thematic nautical stuff. Good beer garden.”
The Kentish Belle Ale House & Gin Palace
“Just wanted to update on my old review. As always a great selection of cask, keg and ciders plus the more exotic cans and bottles in the fridge. From IPAs to sours and stouts, the Belle has it all. They do have a wide selection of gins and mixers too so if that's your bag you'll be satisfied with what they've got.”
Whitechapel Grind
“A hidden gem for great coffee in Whitechapel. Nice and quiet and the coffee quality is up there with some of the best I’ve had in London”
The Bricklayer’s Arms
“Well kept pub. Friendly staff. Quick service despite it being a matchday and most importantly a great selection of cask and keg beers that are well kept and very tasty.”

The Queens Head
“Happened upon this place by chance on a Sunday morning,it was closed but I was intrigued by the best pub in London sign, came back 3 days in a row,the staff were super friendly, the beer and cider was excellent, especially the Bee Sting Perry, the pub food was good as well, packed with locals on a Tuesday evening obviously means they are doing something right, animal friendly and gives a CAMRA discount, not a fan of cashless places as a rule but if I lived in London it would be my local, highly recommended”
The Victoria Tavern
“I went there for a foosball tournament and it was fantastic! It was well organized, the crowd was really friendly yet competitive, the tables were really smooth and easy to play. I loved the beers too, there is a great selection and all I tried were good.”
The Freelands Tavern
“Land lady & Landlord Very friendly to all customers. Good service by bar staff. Everything is spotlessly clean. Will visit again. Can't wait to have a Sunday lunch again top notch food”
Haven Bistro & Bar
“I was there yesterday at a lunch party for my uncle and Aunt’s Diamond Wedding Anniversary. The food and the service was really wonderful and a credit to the Haven. The food was beautifully presented and served hot. The room was elegantly decorated for 25 guests seated at a long table. Nothing was too much for the staff, I was so impressed. With everything thank you so much for making it such a special day.”
Compound Coffee
“Lovely coffee and flapjack. Inside Catford Mews (used to be Poundland). Quieter as it was a Sunday afternoon - can easily see this place very busy on a Saturday. We'll be back.”
Fuckoffee
“We were visiting London and stayed at a hotel right next to this coffee shop. The name alone was enough to get a coffee but I'm glad we did because the latte was quite nice and good espresso. The interior of the building is also very quirky and fun, would recommend. The staff was friendly as well.”
The Holly Bush, Hampstead
“This really is a busy pub if you wish to dine. Especially popular with the locals. There is so much history here and being listed as a Grade 2 building. You need to make bookings to avoid being turned away from their doors. Food is good and service reasonable. Food 8/10, ambience 8.5/10, service 8/10, value for money 8/10. Quite a hidden gem!”
The Salisbury Hotel
“This is the best roast dinner I’ve had in ages!! The beef, pork, potatoes and veg were cooked perfectly, but the prize has to go to the gravy, it’s absolutely fantastic. The staff were great too, so I’d definitely recommend the Sunday Lunch and it’s also great value.”
Draughts
“Great pub, welcoming staff, nice friendly customers good for a nice beer at any time. Played darts here with a team, don't know if we won or lost, because it was a good night. That's what matters! So go have a pint or two and enjoy the night.”
The Red Lion E6
“Beautiful place nice garden, and the food was amazing!!! The best pizza in London!!! The staff are very friendly highly recommended place!!!”
Streeties
“Solid boozer. Went here for some beverages before an event and couldn't have asked for a more perfect pub. £13 for a round of three pints and a gin and tonic, nice lady behind the bar. Don't be put off by how rough it looks, everyone inside was lovely.”
The New Inn
“Extremely friendly, chatty, happy, lively and caring staff. Sarah especially. Its an old traditional pub. I can taste they clean the pipes regularly so the alcohol taste fresh, other pubs don't clean often and can notice the difference. I will definitely be returning due to great customer service and atmosphere.”
