“Great simple home style food and warm welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly, prompt and attentive. Everything very nicely cooked and prepared. Comfortable seating and a spotless toilet. The prices are incredibly reasonable. Its a place where old friends and close family go to meet, eat and talk. Cartons is a rare gem in this slick, overpriced eating out elsewhere around us. Bonus: no alcohol! Cartons promotes community and love that emanates from its owner Ben and pemeates to all who walk through Carton's door. Ben knows and speaks love to his food, staff and guests. We need to make sure we all tell Ben how much we value Ben and his contribution to our Stanmore community. Many of his most appreciative guests do not use social media so I am speaking up here on their behalf! Did you know that Ben will also cater for your afternoon tea events? Recently Ben provided a wonderful sandwich and cake spread for my fathers 96th birthday and my parents platinum wedding celebration tea, for 20 guests two days in a row. Highly enjoyed and now highly recommended. Ben we love you and need you. We know you are feeling tired and unwell right now. We all are wishing you the very best. Please everyone look after Ben and wish him well. He needs us right now.”

“Brilliant service. My nephew left his bag under a seat and I was able to contact this company using the emergency line and the driver was back within 15 minutes from placing the call. Excellent driver and he did not want any further money but as he had really gone out of his way we tipped him again. I will definitely use Ambassador taxis & Minicabs Stanmore again. Very reliable and prop. Vehicle was spotless and comfortable.”

“After a bad eyelash experience i cant believe i found soodie! She is great at what she does, has alot of experience and the lashes she did are beautiful and very secure. Not just this, she is very open and is lovely to talk to. AND I needed an appointment last minute and i phoned everywhere in northwood and watford area and no where was available and then soodie was so open in adding me into her day as an extra client, just out of kindness and yes she is also a 'workaholic' haha, thank you times a million! I love them! If im ever back in london area i know where to go to!”

“The best salon EVER!! Everyone is so lovely, polite and caring! Tommy is an absolute genius - brilliant at what he does, with a flair for colour and style. I first met him when he rescued my hair from a disastrous colour done by a major national salon (who were supposed to be the best in their field!!). Tommy took one look at the horror that was my hair and knew immediately what to do. He talked things through with me, telling me what the other salon had done and how he would save my hair and give me back my healthy, glossy locks! The trust he inspired in me from that very first meet was so reassuring, I was completely at ease and let him work his magic. The result was amazing - not only had he restored the colour to better than what it should be, but he went above and beyond with various conditioning treatments, masks and a head massage to boot! Now whenever I go for my cut / colour I just plonk myself down, enjoy the coffee (and the massage chair - which is an absolute must!) and let him do his thing! Tommy is, without a doubt, absolutely brilliant!”

“Went Sat 19 Feb. Group of guys to watch the PPV Boxing. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. Food was good (in particular - the lamb: Lamb chops & Seekh Kebabs). Chatpata wings were good too. Had Birra Moretti on tap, followed by drinking Whisky. Henal kaka is a friendly & helpful man. Owner came to speak to us too. Would go back again. RECOMMEND!”

“Came in on a lovely Sunday afternoon and I could clearly tell that the people working there were understaffed. I ordered fish and chippy for myself and my family and I noticed that there were a lot of people also waiting to be served. We all got our meal on time, which was lovely and what what impressed me the most was the service of the staff and in particular Robert. He was so nice and understanding even though there must have been immense pressure to continue his service. Please Morrisons make sure you take care of him and his staff. “Absolutely love my nails! Never had acrylics before so I'm not sure if they're done 100% properly but they look and feel really good! One finger is smudged but I think it's my fault. Didn't wait too long before being served. Very nice staff too! I wasn't sure if they'd be able to do the design I wanted but my nails turned out exactly how I wanted!”
