Another local large approved service department had the car in four times and charged a fortune and failed to fix the problem. Feel we have found a great local garage to look after our family motors servicing needs from now on.”

“Hands down some of the best fish shop food i’ve eaten and I spent my childhood in Cornwall. I ended up eating £35 worth of battered goodness in one greasy sitting. All human reflexes left my body and I simply devoured every last amber coloured flake of batter. The next day I spent the morning in the shower, contemplating the animalistic impulse that washed over me, undoing millennia of psychological evolution in one crispy bite. As much as I’d love to return, I simply won’t be able to contain myself if I were to go back to this chippy, I may devolve to a lower state of consciousness. Because of this fried establishment, I must contemplate a life without Cobham Fish Bar’s scran. This leaves an immensely sad feeling within me. I hope you enjoy their food as much as I did. As for the comments relating to the wait time, the wait is irrelevant. If you’re visiting for some stale trawler caught cod, then look elsewhere. The fish is cooked right before your very eyes by keen employees that exist only for us humans culinary enjoyment. They show a genuine interest in the customers day and diligently go through your order to ensure that there are no dinner-time disasters. This team envisage “Quae Sursum Sunt Quaerite”.”

“We have now used Hart Brown (Corinne Flannery) for 2 purchases and a sale, first in 2015 and then again in July 21. In both instances we were under a tight time frame to exchange and complete our transactions and both times Corinne delivered in good time and maintained a calm and professional service throughout - informing us of expected time frames, engaging with the estate agents and other parties and being responsive and available in good time. Talking to others, the price we paid seems reasonable - not the cheapest and not the most expensive. I have recommended their service to other friends and family who went on to use them. If and when we move again I will return to Hart Brown (and hopefully Corinne!) and have no hesitation recommending their overall service to others. Thanks for all your help :)”

“Had day surgery for bowel cancer screening and although they were running late I felt the staff were extremely caring and kept me informed all through my treatment. The air conditioning wasn't working on the hottest day of the year for which they kept apologising but my concern was more for them than me as they would have to suffer all day. “I’ve slept in some places that I would happily like to forget, this place wasn’t one of them. Easy parking, fast check in, amazing smell walking down the halls, room clean with kettle and coffee, bed so comfortable, allowed dogs which is a bonus with doing dog shows, park for the kids, lovely walk for the dogs around the back of the building with poo bins, will definitely book this place again, all staff were lovely even at my 4am walk with the dog. Lots of food places to choose from right outside the hotel door, didn’t hear any traffic with window closed, room was lovely and cool, I’d give the place 10 stars if I could”

“I love Little Angels Nursery, my daughter is so happy there, she is so full of confidence and is learning so much. The staff are fantastic and very caring, I'm so happy I found Little Angels, it's everything I want in a nursery, when your child leaves to go to nursery, you hope they receive the same care you provide for them, and that's exactly the feeling I get when my daughter skips out the door, into and out of nursery, we're both so very happy with both the care and love and attention as well as the education she is receiving. My youngest daughter will also be attending Little Angels too and even though she'll be a lot younger starting I have every confidence she's going to love it too, she's already desperate to run in and join in the fun. “Room is newly refurbished and sparkling clean! Had a great stay here. The receptionist Kelly was very friendly and helpful however her manager (a guy with Indian accent, couldn’t catch his name) was quite rude and unpleasant to talk with, he was also not treating his colleague with respect.”

Only minor was the sharing steak (pictured) we felt should have chosen a larger size as we both thought it wasn't QUITE big enough, our fault, not theirs. The wine (pictured) is some of the best I've ever tasted as is the garlic bread starter (pictured). Will definitely be returning but at over £200 for 3 people probably only for special occasions. “Christmas Eve dinner was fabulous. First time at the Fairmile and we had such a lovely and relaxing dinner. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Efficient and prompt food service. We were seated at the perfect quiet table with no other guests. A roast dinner can often be a rather drab affair with poor ingredients which ruins the whole meal or if the kitchen doesn't know how to cook it properly. This Christmas roast turkey was a very very good plate of food. Good quality ingredients. Roast potatoes cooked in goose fat - made a difference. The turkey meat was tender and juicy. All the vegetables and stuffing cooked to perfection - bear in mind this is in a pub not home cooked. To finish off - enjoyed the tasty Christmas pudding. Thank you to all the staff at the Fairmile pub for making our Christmas Eve dinner so greatly enjoyable.”
