There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”

Cadiz Tapas Restaurant & Cocktail Bar
● Open“I felt very welcomed from the moment I arrived at Cadiz, the staff welcomed us to a table and were quick to make sure we were accommodated with a drink whilst we decided what we would eat. Once we decided which food we wanted, the staff recommended a wine, which was perfect. The food was a delicious and light, and we enjoyed many items from the menu. We got lost with time at Cadiz and spent many hours there with food and drinks, and the staff were always ready to assist with anything we needed! I would recommend for any families, couples, or people who want to try authentic Spanish food. I am already excited to go again!”

La Gaffe Hotel & Italian Restaurant
● Closed“An absolute gem! We went for lunch and were really impressed with everything. This is a family restaurant with a lovely story behind. It's celebrating 60th anniversary this year and counts both famous people and many locals amongst them. I loved the decor and the impeccable service. The food was freshly made and tasted fantastic. We had lasagne and a vegetarian pasta and loved both. The menu has something for everyone. There are great options for vegans, vegetarians, pescaterians and meat eaters :) It is reasonably priced but service is included in your bill. La Gaffe is close to Hamstead Station and not far from the lovely Pergola Garden.”

La Divina Italian Restaurant

Was really a good decision as we were impressed with the decor and the food was excellent. The portion sizes were very generous and worth the price. My friend had the lasagne and I had the stuff chicken breast with mash and veg. The restaurant is also very family friendly and has a kids menu. I would definitely recommend and visit again with my family.”

Hand in Hand
● Open“This is definitely one of my favourite pubs in the Wimbledon area, it’s so nice in the summer months and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Being part of the Youngs pubs in the area I’m surprised they have so many, and they survive, but I’m glad to say they are surviving. They always have a nice selection of beers, today we had a proper local ale the “Wimbledon Brewery Pale Ale” which is such a great local brewery. They had a nice warm fire burning, but due to our timing we needed to sit out side and they have a great out door area. I can’t comment on what the food is like at present, but historically I have always felt satisfied, but like all the youngs pubs in the area, especially compared to my locals it is slightly punchy. For example 3 beers and a pint of Diet Coke came to £21 I’ve included a picture of the toilets as a lot can be said about a pubs toilets, and these were nice and clean and well maintained. Our only gripe is that the glasses were a little dirty, it looked like the dishwasher filter needed changing. Not enough to complain about and embarrass ourselves. It looked like lemon or lime fragments, which I’m not so precious I had to take my pint back and complain about.”

Cask Pub & Kitchen

The Portland Arms Pub
● Open“Really nice, less expensive than some with a mixed and diverse crowd and super-attentive bar/wait staff. Went for a couple, stayed for a few more, watched the footie and had a decent burger and chips. My friend said that while he was waiting on his own the checked if he needed anything and offered him water while he waited for me full marks, I'll be back.”

The Hayden Pub & Rooms
● Open“Such a wonderful vibe as soon as we walked through the door. Antonio and his staff were all extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was was clean, tidy with such a comfortable bed. The room had a good sized ensuite and sufficient storage. It was also surprisingly quiet considering you were in a London pub. The unique boutique twist in the room extended from the relaxed atmosphere the main pub and dining area offered. The food for a pub, was outstanding. We felt it was just as good, (certainly cheaper) thanThe Ivy (London), we visited in the evening for a birthday celebration. The question to ask is, "Would we go back there"? Our answer woukd be, "Absolutely".”

SUSHISAMBA London
● Open“The place is gorgeous, the views would’ve been if it hadn’t been a foggy day as well The food is spot on, they made a mistake with our order but they recognised quickly and were very nice and apologetic about it. The large menu is A LOT of food, so make sure you are hungry! We went for a drink outside after the meal, and although I wasn’t personally very keen on the choice, my party LOVED them! Wide range and knowledge bar staff was key. Overall the food and the experience was spot on”
