"Hospitality was spot on by both owner and waitress. Food was exquisite. Rice was very flavoursome. And the pudding which was a caramel mouse with nuts on was absolutely to die for. Thank you for having me"

"Horrible! We ordered the calamari, it’s was tasteless and rubbery and the sauce they gave was ready made tartar sauce from a jar. We then ordered the mains, Sea bass and Peri Peri chicken. The Sea bass was nasty, all they seasoned with was salt and pepper and it did not have a charcoal taste. It was extremely bland, as well as too salty. Then the Per Peri. Wow it was the nastiest thing I have ever tasted, no flavour whatsoever. It was also very small and strange looking, hardly any meat on it at all, I was still hungry unfortunately. Not sure where they get their chicken from. And the sides were just as bland, boiled vegetables. There was no imagination with the dishes, should’ve just gone to Nandos, would’ve been better value and flavour. Come on guys, I can make a better dish at home, just add some more seasoning and imagination. This place has absolutely nothing to offer, it was a horrible dining experience, oh and we waited for an hour to be served even though it wasn’t busy at all. Imagine if it were. Doubt they would last long with that tripe they call food. I am dubious about the good reviews, don’t understand who could give it higher ratings unless maybe they are all friends."

"Popped in for a family lunch after being at the cemetery. We didn’t have a booking but they were able to seat us and were incredibly welcoming (we were 8 adults and 2 small children). Everyone had the set menu, which had loads of options. I had the lamp chops - delicious - and caramel pudding - super delicious! I ‘helped’ my aunt finish her chocolate mousse which, surprise surprise, was also delicious. At least one of our party is on a diet, but we all happily broke it for this. Everything was lovely, and the staff are kind and just the right amount of attentive. For 8 adults, the bill was roughly £150 including the tip. Highly recommended!"
