Aqua Bar & Grill - Petts Wood
● Closed“Delicious lunch, well presented and good value. We chose the two course menu followed by a coffee and both the sirloin steak and haddock main choices were excellent. Service was good and our waitress was lovely. Maybe a choice of salad leaves would be helpful for those who don't like rocket!”

Café Spice Namasté
● Closed“The restaurant is located in a housing community 7/8 minutes from Gallions Reach DLR station. The isolated location is beneficial for serving the local community and knowledgeable food lovers. The bridge walk to the main entrance is spectacular and a sign of the delights to come. The decor is modern with wood and Arabic-style tiling. The servers are quietly hospitable and not aggressive like other establishments. It provides a homely experience and a sense of calm. The menu provides a fusion of Asian and European cuisine. There are various tasting dishes alongside the main cuisines. The food is excellent and provides a good array of flavours. The pepper beef tikka and lamb cutlets were a particular highlight. There is an extensive collection of malt whiskeys for connoisseurs, which provides an excellent range of choices. Those with dietary restrictions will find options limited to the savoury. The dessert options are heavily dairy-based. In part, due to the isolated location, there is no rush to leave once you have completed your meal and you can enjoy the company of friends. The prices of the dishes are a reflection of the area and a reasonable price of fine food. The servers will not pressure you to leave, which provides comfort. Upon leaving you are greeted well and have the knowledge of having experienced a special style of fine dining.”

Richie's Diner
● Closed“I would just like to start off by saying I can’t say enough good things about this place. I have been ordering from Richie’s for years and have never had any issues with them the portions are more than enough for the price you pay. I have tried many foods from them from chicken to burgers to hotdogs, deserts and milkshakes all have been made to perfection. I decided to eat in a little over a month ago and was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff were very polite and even the manger came over a couple times to make sure everything was as it should be. Would 100% recommend the food is always warm and presented well when delivered and eating in was a lovely and tasty experience.”

The Hampshire
● Closed“Amazing, nothing less than praise for this place. We came by chance here and what looked like a regular pub turned out to be an Indian feast. We hadn’t booked but the place is so big that they can easily accommodate for any size. Food was super delicious, I highly recommend the lollipop chicken for starters alongside the okra fries. For mains we had a masala, a jalfrezi and a madras; all of which were amazing along with pilau rice and a bread basket. In my personal opinion the curries could be a touch spicier but I like my stuff very spicy. They also serve Indian Cobra beers. Staff were also very friendly and attentive, service super speedy. Loved the vibe and will definitely come back over the summer to check out the garden.”

● Closed“A friend recommended us this place and I’m very happy he did. Best Indian food I’ve had outside of India (and it made me wonder… maybe in India too?). Polite waiters who patiently explain the dishes served and good wine menu too. It’s not on the cheaper end, but you really get your money’s worth.”
