“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

“My partner and 1 went here for the 1st time today. We had chicken shish, salad, rice , lamb kebab, plus calamari . Really nice, well cooked and a very good price too. “A lovely clean bright family run restaurant,no paper napkins or table cloths here. Nice clean linen cover the tables with a bottle of spring water. The temptation to cut back over 30 years has been resisted. There's a comprehensive reasonable priced menu with unusual dishes I've never seen before. This make a refreshing change as other restaurants have cut back,simplified and restricted choice. The service was good with a complimentary drink offered. The food was good, meat portions on the small side but sufficient enough to fill me up Go your be splendidly surprised.”

“Went there last night and what a lovely time it was. The food was scummy and the staff very cheerful and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed outside for a few hours with our dog in their massive table Service garden which hasittle wigwam shelters and huts as well as lots and lots of well spaced out tables. Inside was warm and cosy in the evening. We'll worth the visit.”

“It had been a long time since we had seen some of the family, so we decided to spend Easter Sunday having a family meal at The Bulls Head. It was our first time visiting this place, but what a warm welcome. The staff are all so nice and welcoming, the food which is home made was delicious. I would 100% recommend this pub restaurant. We will definitely be coming back, even though it is a 2.5 hour drive to get there. Thanks to all the staff and chefs who made our visit so enjoyable!!!”

“Delicious lunch, well presented and good value. We chose the two course menu followed by a coffee and both the sirloin steak and haddock main choices were excellent. Service was good and our waitress was lovely. Maybe a choice of salad leaves would be helpful for those who don't like rocket!”
