“This is best cinema in North London without a doubt. Screen 1 is art deco glory - beautifully restored by Everyman and filled with sink as you sit sofas and side tables. Booking is easy on the website. Arrive 30 minutes before the film and take advantage of the free parking to the rear of the cinema ( put your registration into the console on the left as you enter )do you can be seated and order from the menu. There are gourmet burgers, tapas selections and popcorn, all drinks including wine and bubbles. The service is to your seat and is fast. So when the film starts you are on the popcorn or shakes ! The screen is big and you have a full surround sound which gives you the full experience. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Toilets are on the ground floor to the right. Forget streaming or home cinema. A trip to Barnet Everyman is a meal out and quality big screen entertainment at a reasonable price. Recommended.”

“Wow! The burgers were absolutely delicious! We ordered delivery and sadly, some of our order was missing - gave them a call and less than 30 minutes later it was all delivered, AGAIN! Yes, please notice that "again", because not only did they send us the bits originally missing, they resent the whole order and wow, I am definitely delighted, because the food was that good, that getting extras for tomorrow's lunch is a guilty bonus. So good food, good service - deserving of 5 stars.”

“Enjoyed a tasty late lunch at The Gate with a choice of the tables dotted around the many delightfully warm open fires and log burning stoves. The welcome was as warm as the burning fires as was the surprisingly spicy Cajun chicken burger! Despite being sat in the end closest to the busy road; we couldn’t hear the traffic at all and really enjoyed watching the endless stupidity of many drivers through the sash window as we enjoyed our lunch. The pub doesn’t take bookings at all and given the carpark is always so full and chaotic it has always put us off visiting, but a break in the chaos gave us the opportunity see why it is always so manic; The delicious meals, the toasty fires, friendly team and fair pricing. There is an abundance of tables to choose from with a mix of smaller ‘rooms’ and larger areas like the conservatory. As it happens there is more parking available nearby that perhaps isn’t such a war zone!”

“Expensive but delicious, sweet and sour prawn balls and vegetarian hor devours. Only suggestion is to have slightly larger steam holes as it was a bit steamed by the time it arrived. Will visit again for delivery order, ordered on Google Just Eat. Due to price though wouldn't be too often.”

“Fantastic food prepared by Chef Alex. A husband and wife owned concern that offers a unique dining experience. What helps is that there is local car parking which only helps expedite your taste buds. Do not delay your visit, aided by a white table cloth environment. CHEERS!”

“We’ve been coming to Boulevard for something like 10+ years, and it’s our go to for excellent indian food, relaxing atmosphere and fantastic service. In all of that time, we’ve never left a review, so thought it was about time. If you want a really tasty and fresh indian meal, with a wide selection of drinks, look no further. We can’t recommend it any higher. If you want your food done to your particular (heat) taste, just ask. It’s very authentic, so expect your palate to be taken on a journey!”

“Love this place! Great atmosphere, wonderful staff, very cool interior. The food was great, huge portion,well worth the £27 for two of us - two different big breakfasts, hot chocolate, a mocktail, coffee. I'll definitely be back! The picture I've attached isn't great but it was nice to sit in front of the chefs.”

“We just went there after a day out with our 1 year old. The Sunday roast was absolutely incredible. We both got the pork and it was not only delicious, but enormous as well! The staff were extremely friendly, the lady who was serving us made a fuss of our son and gave him colouring pencils to keep him entertained as well. They allow dogs in there as well, which we thought was nice as nit many places do. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to have a relaxing meal in a warm, friendly and clean place with friendly staff and delicious food. It has a typical, country pub style decor, the chairs were comfortable and the toilets were very clean. Only thing I would say they could improve is the size of the parking spaces.”

“We dropped in as a last minute decision after googling pubs to eat at in the area and it was excellent! They were very busy as we expected for a Friday night but were happy to accommodate us and we will definitely be back! The onion rings were the best my partner has ever had, alongside the burger which was so tasty and my venison pie was delicious and hearty. Definitely recommend!”

“Ive stayed here several times and it has always been good. This last time was excellent. The staff, especially a chap called Martin, looked after us so well. Dinner was really very good indeed, the beer was almost as good as a pint from the North and the rooms clean, cosy and comfortable. Thank you.”

“Amongst the best steaks I've ever tasted. We came for lunch with friends and had an amazing meal. Everyone chose steaks and thoroughly enjoyed them. Full of flavour, juicy, cooked perfectly and delicious seasoning. Served wuth grilled veg which I devoured too. Desserts were perfect. Along with fabtastic service it made a thoroughly enjoyable meal, will definitely come back.”

“This place has really taken a huge upward turn since the removal of the former manager and is now surely the only pub in Barnet to frequent. The food here is phenomenal, the Sunday roast is by far the best in the area and there’s a quiz night every Wednesday, what’s not to like? A special mention goes to the fantastic staff who are all warm, welcoming human beings with a great energy that have put the Black Horse right back where it should be.”
