The Moon Under Water - JD Wetherspoon
“What we have come to expect and love from Wetherspoons, nice food at a great price, fast service. Pleasant atmosphere and staff in a nice clean pub.”
Pied Bull Enfield
“Really friendly staff. Good food (chicken burgers for two of the family and liver and mash for me) and excellent kids menu (proper chicken in the nuggets). Would recommend if you are in the area. Just be careful if you're tall as it's a traditional low ceiling pub.”
Bootlaces London
“I loved this pub. The staff is very kindly and people who frequent this place are friendly.”
The Goldengrove - JD Wetherspoon
“Friendly staff and very nice pub. Prices are affordable but that does not reflect the quality of the food and drinks. Food was piping hot freshly made which i did not expect. Lovely beer garden with plenty of seating. Practically enjoying the 8 inch pizza.”
Guard House
“HIGHLY RECOMMEND - Exquisite food, coffee was perfect and the view/ venue has great character and bright modern windows. the food and coffee is very reasonably priced! Surprisingly it is also a pub, I will be returning regularly. We came here for breakfast, we sat out on their nice decking area in the sun, there is also an umbrella for shade. Inside is just as nice if not better. While the restaurant is close to a busy main road and outside the Elizabeth line, it's positioned perfectly, the noise is only heard outside and is quite pleasant as background sound while enjoying food and talking with company. The pedestrians walking around to and from the station, Thames cycle path and Woolwich museums provide a very nice atmosphere. The breakfast was cooked perfectly especially the eggs, poached perfectly. The sausage / bacon meat was high quality and very tasty alongside the fresh sourdough. The mushroom/ peppers were a breath of fresh air in a full English, only note was they weren't seasoned or seasoned fully, however with salt and pepper grinders on my table I seasoned them to my preference which I greatly appreciate. Both the staff rob, supervisor and the general manager ray came to check we were enjoying our food which is always nice to hear! Just moved near here so I will be a returning customer! Also the bathroom was very nice!”
Yacht
“Had a lunch date with my mate of over 40 years. She suggested the Yacht. I found this venue warm and welcoming from the moment I entered. The food and drinks were well priced and free car parking. My friend had the steak in ale pie, I had Fish n Chips sitting in our cosy table, we were served generous portions of food which was hot n tasty. I strongly recommend and will visit again soon ;0)”
The Black Horse Public House
“Great pub, lovely beer, great people great prices. This place does not charge for parking, you go in and enter your reg on the system for free. See till to try the food but looking forward to it. We go out of our way to visit this pub on our way home from other works because it's one of the best in the area”
J.J. Moons - JD Wetherspoon
“Down to earth pub, with busy bar due to its good value prices and excellent value meal deals, that fill you up! Yesterday was curry club, got naan, 2 poppadoms, chutney, curry and rice with a JD and coke for £8.10 my wife had scampi, chips and mushy peas with Bacardi and coke bill was under £16 as you can see enjoyed every bit. Needed the walk home, properly full.”
The Dairyman - JD Wetherspoon
“Situated on the main high street. A Wetetherspoons, an absolutely super range of lager, real ales and various other drinks on offer, the prices for selected ales can be as low as £2.50 a pint. There's an ample breakfast menu at very affordable prices. There is also a wide of main meals available and it seemed a daily special at lunchtime. To me, this establishment offered very good value for money. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Brentwood.”
Marquis of Granby
“Went there the other night for some drinks and ended up having fish & chips a few hours later and my partner had a mixed grill. Fish was cooked to perfection and chips were top notch. Great portion size too. All the meat on the mixed grill was spot on. Both really happy and exceeded expectations. Asked for the chefs name and it was Henry I believe. Well done to him and the rest of the team. Will come again 100%”
Columbia Restaurant
“We were seated at the window with an amazing view over the Thames. The service was excellent and on my husband's birthday, they surprised him with a delicious millionaire caramel shortcake. The food and prosecco was good.”
The Moon on the Hill - JD Wetherspoon
“A small but nice little pub a few minutes from Harrow-on-the-Hill Station. Very clean and tidy. Only one barman on and he was very polite and cheerful and always cleaning if not serving. The pub was really a row of comfortable booths along either wall with a number of tall tables and chairs throughout the rest of the pub. Another Wetherspoons recently put on the market and I have no doubt it will be missed when it goes. Oh, and the Guinness was excellent.”
The Queens Tavern
“Used this pub, a lot over the years, Used to be called the Springbok, always pop in for a pre match pint or three, before going to QPR home games, it's a typical estate pub, pretty basic but the welcome is always warm”
Freemasons Arms Hampstead
“First time in Freemasons arms and you have to go! The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing wines, food and service. Alex G is extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. The service was so amazing and we definitely be back again.”
The Nag's Head
“Decent pub, was there last night for halloween. I’m only writing this review and given a 5 star as I saw how the general public can be so rude to security yet head of security was calm and polite. Hats off to them. 5 star for head of security who rubs that pub! I think his name is Abi. Bar staff are nice. One of them who works their got totally drunk! Kept talking to the whole world and sticking her bum out! Saying she has an Argentina bum! Seriously!!? Where’s the respect in where you work?! Does not look professional in anyway of form. Management needs to review this, need to keep some standards in a working environment. Dj was awful not the one that was there a few weeks back. Maybe his new but what a let down! DJ was a disaster. Needs to change people was leaving bcoz of it and so did I. Only gave 5 star bcoz of head security otherwise would be a 2/3! They make us feel safe, protect us regardless of them getting abused! Respect to Security especially Abi.”
The Last Post - JD Wetherspoon
“Just wandered in after a lovely big walk in Epping forest with a good old friend, and I have to say, what a fantastic weatherspoons! Ordered a small freshly battered cod and chips with mushy peas and a leffe blonde to wash it down (lunchtime deals of course! £6.99?! Can’t say fairer than that!) Can confidently say it was the best weatherspoons food I’ve ever had, fish was perfectly cooked, fantastically crispy batter whilst maintaining a juicy succulent cod piece in the middle, and might I say generous portions for a small plate! Perfectly poured crisp pint to top it all off, what more could you ask for? The last post? It’s my FIRST choice in Loughton let me tell you that much :)”
The Ardleigh
“Just had a very enjoyable meal at the ardleigh. Jacob the barman could not have been more helpful with our granddaughter who has nut and egg allergies. Food was excellent real value for money. Well done all the ardleigh staff and chef.”
Premier Inn London Barking hotel
“The staff here could not have been nicer or more supportive. Going above and beyond, helpful and friendly, cheap and convenient car parking. Out of the way so quiet given the London location. Will definitely return.”
Bar Flounder
“The fried pickles cannot be surpassed. Can't wait to return with my bestie pickle chick and have her slow crunch them in my ear.”
The London's Pride, Heathrow
“The food was excellent, loads of different options for food and drink. Well priced for good quality food in the airport Atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable. The area is very very clean for the airport The staff are extremely kind and helpful they made the experience much nicer.”
The Fishermans Arms
“The Brazilian family in here are top class”
The Greyhound
“Great atmosphere for a family to enjoy a few drinks in the beer garden. It was nice to be serve by funny and friendly staff with fresh drinks in a clean glass. They also have a Jamaican BBQ which serves delicious food, serves by friendly staff again. You must try the jerk chicken, 10/10. The Owner played some great tunes in the beer garden where the volume control down low for out of respect to neighbours and customers. All in all, a great day out, finished off by an enjoyable few vodka and oranges with music and sun. What more could you ask for. 10/10, thanks everyone.”
The Earl of Chatham
“Exceeded expectations! Has had such a amazing revamp doesn’t even feel like the same place! Drinks are cheap as chips and is amazingly clean! Pool table, drinks available on tap including Camden hells, strongbow and fosters. Clean and nice toilets, lots of tvs available to watch from ALL angles, nice beer garden very clean and polite staff members. Very nice pub in London would defo recommend”
The Bridge House
“Great land owner, Picked us up from station, & took us to his place, couldn't fault that, room was OK as well.”
Spotted Dog
“The manager is friendly and accommodating. We had a party held there for one of our client and the venue, service and food did not disappoint us. Good value for money. I'm so glad we had the party there. Thank you tother manager and staff. We have a lovely day.”
The Deuce Lounge
“Definitely a fun lounge. I danced my heart out and it was exactly the kind of vibes I needed. If you want to find all the Africans around Barking on a night out, then The Deuce Lounge is your best bet because the Afro beats vibes is on point. The DJ kept going back and forth but later on, he gave back to back Afro jamz and I danced my sorrows away.”
The Orchard Beefeater
“Thank you to all of the staff for looking after us this evening and giving us the most excellent service. We came here tonight as a couple to celebrate my birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a fabulous night. The food was delicious (we ordered from the festive menu) but the staff were amazing as nothing was too much trouble. I have a range of medical needs, however the staff made sure they accommodated these whilst still being friendly and professional at all times. A big shout out to Kacy (our waitress), Taylor the amazing bar man and Henry who helped out to ensure the service run smoothly - what a credit to the Beefeater team, thank you guys.”
