"I love this pub - the staff are friendly and the pool is fun. The drinks are affordable and the atmosphere is delightful. However i’m giving a 1 star review for the chef, who took nearly an hour to make and make me a burger - the servers were asking him multiple times to bring it but to no avail. When it did come, the burger was cold, and the bun was hard. The servers refunded me which i’m incredibly grateful for, but this service was not on."

"Spacious, standard boozer right on the Wood Green junction. Staff *are* friendly, but overall it doesn't have a lot going for it - at least it's better than Spouters Corner over the road. Good for watching all the Wood Green randoms come and go."

"Decent pub, was there last night for halloween. I’m only writing this review and given a 5 star as I saw how the general public can be so rude to security yet head of security was calm and polite. Hats off to them. 5 star for head of security who rubs that pub! I think his name is Abi. Bar staff are nice. One of them who works their got totally drunk! Kept talking to the whole world and sticking her bum out! Saying she has an Argentina bum! Seriously!!? Where’s the respect in where you work?! Does not look professional in anyway of form. Management needs to review this, need to keep some standards in a working environment. Dj was awful not the one that was there a few weeks back. Maybe his new but what a let down! DJ was a disaster. Needs to change people was leaving bcoz of it and so did I. Only gave 5 star bcoz of head security otherwise would be a 2/3! They make us feel safe, protect us regardless of them getting abused! Respect to Security especially Abi."

"Lovely wee beer garden, two pool tables and good service - I’ve seen rough crowds in here Fri - Sun, but it’s genuinely not a bad watering hole."

"Waited half an hour for so called pork loaded chips only to receive a bowl of chips with some sauce. Waited another 10 minutes for the "correct dish" which was clearly the same plate of chips with a few things added. Picture attached. Soggy beyond belief, hideous, lazy food. Service was also terrible. Waited at an empty bar for 5 minutes with two members of staff completely ignoring me. On top of all that, a rude homeless guy was allowed to make two runs of every table in the place asking for money and would swear at you when refused. Will never return"
