The Bohemia
“Super nice pub, the staff it's always nice and prepared on their products. Excellent food and really nice original beer. The vibe of the place it's cute and really clean! I would prefer a beer garden with more plants but it was lovely anyway! The chorizo it's so tasty!”
The Queen Adelaide
“Took my swedish mum for her first Sunday roast and she absolutely loved it! Super simple to order through an app and their service was great. The portions are massive, so I'd recommend showing up with an appetite!”
Dog & Bull
“Cool Spot. We almost had a hard time understanding the strong English accent of the bartenders. But we managed to work out the misunderstanding since we were the foreigners and everyone speaks credit card payment.”
The Champion
“Pub with a lot to offer and with great staff. You can be in the hustle and of pub activity or street-side activity on the main floor, or in a cozy nook downstairs in the Mercury Lounge or beer garden. Will have to go back to try the rhubarb cider as it was all out. Cheers!”
Cock Tavern
“I came in the other day with my son after viewing a house round the corner. Was looking at local bars to hopefully work in when I move to the area and this did not disappoint. Really friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere and location. Hopefully see more of the pub in the near future x”
The Bell
“Great boozer , and unusually good and cheap pints! Sadly went back on Sat to watch the England Vs Springboks rugby, but they didn't have the channel so a few of us went elsewhere. Still a great spot for a pint.”
The Coach & Horses
“Had a fantastic dinner with one of the best fish & chips I had. My mate had a top-notch burger. I had the Moving Mountains veggie burger myself last time. Unmissable. Great variety of ales and love music on Fridays. I mean, what more can you ask for?”
The Guildford Arms
“Our server was a nice gentleman, unfortunately did not get his name. Went with family, for a reunion of sorts. Visiting from Canada, so I've never been here. Ordered the set menu. Tomato soup (it was alright, a tomato basil or a tomato bisque would have been better), the imam's bayild (the topping was amazing, not the biggest egg plant fan), and the cheese for dessert (chutney on the sweet side). Would certainly come back and try something new. Coffee a little on the tart/sour side.”
The Red Lion E6
“Beautiful place nice garden, and the food was amazing!!! The best pizza in London!!! The staff are very friendly highly recommended place!!!”
Old Mill Public House
“Great food, great beer. Fantastic friendly atmosphere. My favourite family pub.”
The Kings Arms
“Cute little pub with a couple of nice ales, a bunch of mainstream lagers, and friendly staff. Warm, cosy, and buzzing on this Saturday afternoon. I’ll be back to settle in with food and a few pints, sometime.”
Jolly Millers
“Great family pub, child friendly, dog friendly, people friendly, Sunday Meat raffle, good beer, good looking bar staff, good live music and gorgeous guvnor, what more could you ask for.”
George and Dragon Public House
“New landlady & landlord. New decor. New clientele. Apparently a super beer garden in the planning. Friendly welcome...Onwards & upwards!”
Draughts - Waterloo
“I always have a fantastic time at Draughs! I love board games and own about 70 myself. They have a huge selection and can cater to both casual players and more serious gamers. Some games do need refreshing and the components are sticky. Some are missing parts. Despite that, it's definitely a great night out with friends. The chicken burger was unexpectedly good!”
Taboullah
“Lovely place, lovely Tunisian owner, took care with the food and made us all feel welcome. Great place to stop for breakfast and I’m sure the other meals are just as good. Seemed to be quite full of chairs which made me think it must get quite rammed. Very reasonably priced.”
Three Cranes
“Everything was great! We had the best time staying at the beautiful guest rooms, food and drinks were amazing as well. Absolutely charming staff, made us feel right at home. Until next time :)”
George & Dragon
“New landlord and small changes have made a big difference to this village pub. Had Sunday lunch and the food and service was outstanding. Outdoor space is refreshed and much improved. Table service is fast and efficient. Food and drinks were priced above other local pubs but I think it’s worth it.”
The Rose & Crown
“Went there last night and what a lovely time it was. The food was scummy and the staff very cheerful and couldn't do enough for us. We stayed outside for a few hours with our dog in their massive table Service garden which hasittle wigwam shelters and huts as well as lots and lots of well spaced out tables. Inside was warm and cosy in the evening. We'll worth the visit.”
Cafe Renoir.
“Great place for a lighter lunch. Quick service and interesting choice. Crepes are very good and a great range of home made juices. Good coffee. Very reasonable prices. Comfortable seats.”
Golden Lion
“Great pub. There are few pubs in Watford now that aren't soulless chains and even fewer than will make you feel at home when you're there; the Golden Lion is a decent, friendly pub that is worth spending an evening in. Support your local!”
The Horse & Chains
“Popped in for a quick lunch on a freezing Friday. Only one member of staff behind the bar and ferrying food, but she did a brilliant job and was extremely friendly. Food was surprisingly good and while not 'cheap', I think it was worth it. Not busy for a Friday lunch, which is a little worrying. I hope to visit again soon.”
The Hare & Hounds, Osterley
“We have been to the Hare & Hounds several times, usually during summer after a long walk in Osterley Park. However on this occasion we went in November. I wasn't sure what to expect as one of the key attractions for me is their great open space which they have done beautifully. I found that the inside is also super nice; decorated with taste and and gives a true feeling of coziness without looking rustic or old fashioned. Really nice atmosphere, even though it was a bit quiet it did not feel empty and the other guests were all well behaved! The waiters/ waitresses looked after us and seemed genuinely nice and relaxed. The food was really good too. I was overall quite impressed and will certainly be returning.”
The Castle Inn
“Me and my friend (pictured) drove here and were able to park conveniently right in front of the pub! The staff were extremely friendly, one of them even laughed at my jokes which is a rarity. The Guinness was superb and this can be telling of the establishment as a whole. They also offered us a rewards card on arrival which gifted a free pint for every six purchased - very handy if you're going as a large group! The Heineken silver wasn't for us but you can't please everyone in this day and age. Will definitely be back here in the near future.”
The Teddington Arms
“Just been again after the new refurb. Love the new decor. The food was great and service was friendly. Definitely recommend.”
The Grove
“I love the Roasts here so much. I brought my friend from the US here so she could sample one and she was instantly obsessed. She also tried a Scotch Egg (also delicious) and an Eton Mess style dessert that was also new to her and she loved it all, as did I.”
The Foresters Arms
“We went for a mother's day roast and it was delightful. Staff couldn't have been more accommodating, food was delicious and rapidly served. 10/10, couldn't have asked for more, definitely recommend!”
The Stag's Head Barnes
“Great man behind the bar, great locals brilliant pub”
William Ⅳ
“One of my favourite corners of the world. I recently chose WIV to have a business lunch due to the space and privacy it offers, not to mention the great chefs who work there- the food is always 100% We were left in peace to work and yet somehow the waiter was always on hand when we needed anything. Thank you so much, Ill be seeing you again soon.”
