The Hawke Pub
“Great local pub with a nicely understated and welcoming atmosphere. Delicious food too. Will be back for the roast!!!”
On The Rocks Bar Crawl London
“This was the best night I've had in London so far. From the people I met to the places we visited, every step made me feel less alien to a city I've been in for a couple of days. Thank you to On The Rocks Bar Crawl for hosting this. It's something I'd truly do again.”
Mozart London - Café Bar
“Quirky little cafe-bar. Had a perfectly nice pot of tea and a really good pain chocolat. I was the only customer in and me and the owner Ken spent the whole time chatting, mostly about photography. Many of his are on the walls, along with several other photographers. There's also a lot of music instruments hanging on the walls and ceiling, Mozart-themed chocolates and other gifts (as the name might suggest) imported from Vienna, classical music playing. Overally a nice interesting place to sit and while away some time taking in the overall ambience.”
The Prince of Greenwich Pub
“Bf told me this is his favourite pub in England. Finally had a chance to visit this place with him and I must say, it's pretty good. Welcoming owner who immediately warm-heartedly greets you with "welcome home" (on the way out of the pub, I notice the sign at the entrance that also reads "welcome home"). Nice atmosphere and great lighting. The eclectic decor is a feast for your eyes. Staff got one of our orders wrong but that's ok, we all make mistakes sometimes. Didn't have to wait long for our actual main to arrive. Hope to visit this place again when they have the live band playing.”
Vine Bar London
“Such a great experience eating here. Amazing truly authentic Italian food. The tiramisu was the best we have ever eaten. Such great accommodation and service. Such a beautiful little gem in London.”
Brook Green Pub
“Beautiful place to stay. Food and drinks outstanding! Let's don't forget about the Smith's Cocktail Bar!”
Victoria Pub SE8 Deptford
“Finally opened! We were waiting for such a long time! Really nice spacious place with huge potential. Friendly staff and a great selection of beers! highly recommended. There is outside space to sit with lamp heaters.”
The High Cross Pub, Tottenham
“One of my favourite pubs. Previously I've been for a Sunday roast, which is incredible, but this time it was just for some drinks and a snack. They always have a solid range of beers on tap, but if you're more into wine, they have a great selection of natural wines. Not a huge venue, so be prepared to sit in the beer garden just outside. Either way, it's worth a visit.”
Grill Shack and Tiki Bar London
“This is one of the best Haitian Food restaurants I have been to anywhere including in Haiti. PERIOD! The beautiful dinning room and bar really set the stage for what is to come. The drinks are excellent and top quality (try the rhum punch or the 15-year Barbancourt). The Haitian cuisine and presentation offered here is beyond amazing and beyond delectable. It should also be said the Anglophone Caribbean dishes on the menu are also very delicious. I have been here 4 times in the last two weeks and the wait staff has always been kind and responsive. Don't miss London's only and BEST Haitian Restaurant!”
Park Tavern Pub
“One of the few remaining “proper pubs” in the area and it’s fantastic - warm welcome from the bar staff, fantastic ales, friendly locals - so glad to have found the Park Tavern!”
Tony's Bar London
“Friendly family and pets welcome.attentive and caring staff.food is traditional and ambient surroundings”
Gibney's London
“Fantastic experience we had for St Patrick’s day. Live performance made the night.”
The Pride of Spitalfields London
“Great traditional London pub. Small place so it gets busy. Good atmosphere.”
Lion and Key Pub
“Great place beautiful food best chicken wraps I have ever tasted massive tasty pizza,s great variety will definetely be making more visits here very friendly staff everything made fresh fabulous”
The Halfway House Craft Pub
“Very lovely place, I haven't been there in a few years and it's all changed. (For the better), they now have a lovely outside space and a heated seating area. Good choice of beer, cider, gin. Good atmosphere, they also serve coffee during the day. Dogs are welcome which is brilliant, and the family that run it are lovely. Rachel is a proper laugh. All in all its a great place and I will be going back.”
The Horseshoes Country Pub & Dining Room
“Absolutely amazing food with a good price tag. Staff are friendly, polite and attentive. I look forward to visiting again.”
Hand and Spear Pub
“Stayed for 2 nights. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean (shower was amazing). Food was great. Selection of beverages went above and beyond. We stayed as it was close to the Brooklands Museum. 15 min walk. Would highly recommend for food, drink and accomodation.”
Prince Albert Pub Whitton
“My husband and I come here often and always find it friendly and welcoming. Best of all, it's really well priced for the area and serves a great pint of Guinness!”
The Prince of Wales Pub
“Popped in to watch the world cup. Great friendly pub. Nice educated people and family vibes. Like generally the area. Recommended for families and chilled people”
The Unicorn Pub
“We popped in on the off chance they’d have a table on a busy Saturday lunchtime, and although they were really busy the lovely Scottish landlady squeezed us in for a quick lunch. It was all very tasty and the team working there were lovely!”
The Jolly Coopers Pub & Fuzzchat Brewery
“Great ‘little’ pub. Friendly, good selection of drinks including ales that pour to a good standard, good food and reasonably priced for an independent local. Welcoming place. Can get busy especially if outside not suitable due to weather so recommend booking if looking to specifically eat as a group.”
Jono's Pub
“Lovely, cozy, affordable and has a pool table.”
The Crossing Pub
“Not your usual pub, the quality, service and food was amazing. But also the decor and the design looks very good. It was easy to find parking on the streets next to the pub. They had a chocolate pudding that wasn't due to ready until the next day, however the chef managed to get us all a piece, which was amazing.”

“This is definitely one of my favourite pubs in the Wimbledon area, it’s so nice in the summer months and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Being part of the Youngs pubs in the area I’m surprised they have so many, and they survive, but I’m glad to say they are surviving. They always have a nice selection of beers, today we had a proper local ale the “Wimbledon Brewery Pale Ale” which is such a great local brewery. They had a nice warm fire burning, but due to our timing we needed to sit out side and they have a great out door area. I can’t comment on what the food is like at present, but historically I have always felt satisfied, but like all the youngs pubs in the area, especially compared to my locals it is slightly punchy. For example 3 beers and a pint of Diet Coke came to £21 I’ve included a picture of the toilets as a lot can be said about a pubs toilets, and these were nice and clean and well maintained. Our only gripe is that the glasses were a little dirty, it looked like the dishwasher filter needed changing. Not enough to complain about and embarrass ourselves. It looked like lemon or lime fragments, which I’m not so precious I had to take my pint back and complain about.”
Cask Pub & Kitchen
“I am not normally a burger lover but I like these because the Cask Pub & Kitchen uses quality locally sourced patties. Pavement seating for out door dining plus rarely seen draft craft beers and real real ales make this a perfect pre theatre venue. Less than 10 mins walk from Wicked or Hamilton”
The Great Southern Pub
“OMG best chicken burger I’ve had. Thank you Jack for your recommendation, I forgot how Dm hood they were and those funny shaped chips are still banging. Nice also to see hofmeister on draught. Beautiful helles. Thanks again and pleas let the chef know :)”
The Woodbine - Irish Pub
“Lovely boozer with loads of screens showing the World Cup. It was nicely busy so a really good atmosphere and even had some Dutch fans in there which was a laugh. Lunch was good and reasonably priced, which the drinks were too. Will certainly be back.”
The Hand in Hand
“Nice friendly bar, clean and warm. Bar man is nice and whilst they don't serve food, you can order and eat in the place, no problem”
Old Eagle Pub
“The best Thai food I've had in London. The pub itself is also quite nice, and super friendly service. Not a big beer selection, but they have a couple of ales.”
